i have a 2013 uk porsche cayenne 4.2 v8 tdi, the right hand ecu has had water damage and died, no comms via obd when we checked it looked like it had been replaced previously as the part number was not the same as the left hand one.
left hand part number : 7P5 907 409 / HW 41 / sw 7P5 907 409 F
dead right hand part number 7P5 907 409 P / HW 42
so we bought another ecu part number 7P5 907 409 P / HW 42 / SW 7P5 907 409 P and did immo off on both ecus flash and eeprom, the car would not start and we had dtc software incompatible.
we then flashed the new used ecu with software 7P5 907 409 F and did immo off flash and eeprom, but we had the same issue, software incompatible.
obviously there is a way to get the new ecu working even though it is different numbers to the left ecu, as someone had got the dead ecu working previously.
we would have bought an ecu with the same numbers as the left but none were available, can anyone tell me if any other part numbers can be used for 7P5 907 409
or can anyone help please getting what we have working

Is it possible to replace amplifier in with better one and keep all the speakers and commands on the steering wheel? Maybe some used Burmester from Ebay?
Where is the Amplifier located in S213?

Hello, I need help. After programming I have no ignition, it shows a crossed out key. I can read the cash register on the table. Probably the cash register is dead or the flash is damaged. Can I repair my files (not for free) or send me a flash from the CAS2 5WK4 7995 mask 2K79X unit?. The EEprom starting with 2k79x is read from this year. Best regards!
