A long story but I have a starting issue after replacing the pyro fuse with a new genuine replacement on a 2017 a180 1.5d. It will only start bypassing the pyro fuse, and i’ve gone though xentry with no faults found.
I was just checking if there is a reset procedure for the replacement, or is it a plug and play part.
When attempting to start you can hear a click nose and that’s it. I have changed the starter relay and still no joy. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

A customer has fitted the incorrect engine to a 07 manual rodeo :\ Have trouble with the cam sensor trigger wheel being different. They no longer have the old engine to compare.

Trying to read / write sound datasets on the above (MQB2020 (evo), MIB3). Used OBDEleven, VCTool, CarScanner so far with an OBD11, two different reputable ELM adapters, a direct CAN to USB and a DoIP connection (which I understand should be able to do it). SFD unlocked, and all other features work fine. Tried EOL, Dev and debug sessions (I understand it’s EOL only)
All seem to fail in the same way - the read on 7201 / 7204 gives me function not available. Reading on a random address gives me a lot longer before failing, and if I pull 7200 it seems to do a speaker test then fails, so it feels like something is happening. I am also unsure of the read size (although VCTool doesn’t require this for the MIB manager which has the addresses baked in). VCTool
Has a library of parameterisations from the same car, so it certainly seems possible (VCTool supports also VAS6154, which I don’t have (yet).
Am I doing something wrong, do I need the 6154 and VCTool, do I need ODIS (without online) or ODIS online? Any tips hugely appreciated.
Also trying to kill the centre speaker without faulting the SOS module (which I can’t code or adapt out), but I suspect that may be easier with the sound dataset in hand.

Wrote flash and eeprom from different SRS unit still no luck, will post dumps in a minute. Maybe its crash sensor problem?
