my das version is 07/2010 it work perfect with all cars and no problem , when i pluged my star diagnosis with a W204 i can't access it and a have an error , but all of the other cars work perfect only w204

For different reasons, I decided to update all the ECUs in my US 04 Saab 9-3 to the most updated version available. I have been successful updating them all.

Now I am in the process of re-adding all the updated ECUs but now realize that some of them require a higher security access than type 1 to allow me to re-add.

I am using...
An original Tech 2
Original CANdi,
Original 32MB Card /w Ver 144 Saab software
Original RJ45 to DB9 Female serial port adapter
Original RJ45 Cable
Gigaware Radio Shack serial to USB cable (which works great BTW)
Downloaded TIS 2000 Saab 2008-2
Downloaded the driver work around to allow security access.

What else so I need to do to get the higher security access with the setup I have?

I cannot re-add or make adjustments to the following ECUs..
CIM, DDM, MIU, PDM, RLDM, RRDM, TCM
They all appear to be security/lock related.

I appreciate the help.

Hi everyone ,

I tried to install Das 3.2011 with "jcrecordings.com" guide

I've done all that is required

When i setup the das , I get the error message :

1.Cannot create Errorlog-File

2.Error -6003

3.Driver repair not successful

4.No valid authorization was found for xentry

and even if I continue the setup, after the final reboot the xentry will not work ..


- I need key to xentry , my HW-ID : 4024EF236D15 , AppID : 252 Maybe solve the problem

I have been given a 1974 Super Beetle. The engine has already been heavily modified.
It has the big Dell'Orto carb and double intakes. It sat for so long that
the butterfly valves and linkage components are seized up like a rock.
No corrosion, just seized.
Now I can get linkage parts and just cut the old stuff off to remove the
carb.
I need to go through the carb and jet it correctly. It is a racing carb and
has no choke.
I would rather find a way to free up the linkage and butterfly valves and
remove it cleanly.
The valves and linkage have to move to the open position to get the
linkage off
so that is where I am stuck.
Any tricks out there? I do not want to spray a gallon of penetrating solvent
all over and down into carb which will then drain it into the heads.
The heads are Porsche heads and they have low usage so I am trying to
be kind to them.
Any tips or tricks are greatly appreciated. I really want to get a 130hp
Beetle on the road and beat up on some Honda Civics. LOL
