Hi, i have received at my workshop an audi q7 2008 3.0 tdi BUG engine EDC16CP34, his ECM was opened at another workshop and they was broken some component around the chip on the corner close to the eeprom, i try to rebuild that but i need some good pictures to compare the componets location, somebody can help me please.

I tried today, and when I choose Tacho or any of the other options I get "NO CONNECTION" in the display on the Digiprog
The manual says:
The diagnostic connector is located in the driver's footwell below the steering wheel.
Turn the ignition on the vehicle . Connect the connector ST16 diagnostic plug and the DIGI PROG .
Select in the menu: car / truck - VW - BEETLE DIAG .
The DIGIPROG displays the old / wrong Mileage .
Program and completed the new / correct Mileage .
Some tachometers , you will be requested to
still enter the exact old Mileage .
Can this veachle be done with ST01 on chip inside the cluster, or what am I doing wrong?

I have purchased a K+Dcan cable but it doesn't work on older models. It works great on 2007 and up. I thought this cables were supposed to bridge pins 7 and 8 automatically. If they don't do it automatically, then how do you do it?

Just wondering people's opinions on this one. I had this Z3 recovered to me in very good condition. Car has 2 keys but neither are coded. I removed the EWS2 removed the HC11 and recovered the bin. I had a chip coded to this dump but still no luck. I got a used EWS2 and flashed original file, checked coded key, fitted and the car turns over. The immo fault code (178 iirc , only code logged) has cleared and I can smell fuel but I'm getting no spark. All data looks correct: rpm, maf, ignition advance, fuel injection etc but there is no pulse to the coil. There is ignition and earth at the coil, each primary measures roughly 1 ohm and pulls 20 amps peak before dropping to around 15 iirc. I've tried another coil pack because i had one to hand. DME looks good and clean, no signs of water. I'm thinking of opening the DME up, confirming continuity of wiring to coil first but i can't see that. Oh and I've had plug one out and powered it manually to get a spark. Thanks for looking

I have customer with problem in ZGW module. I will replace but I want to know that is it necessary to coding this module and can I do that without online access? Or just plug-and-play?
For the w221 what is the procedure to be followed to renew ism and make configuration using das . Please advise me regarding this . I have already renewed the tcm is it necessary to renew the ism also along with tcm .
