Hi,

I have replaced a cd30 stereo in a zafira B, but obviously needs marrying.

the stereo i have replaced with i already have the code and have reset the dump on the eeprom. so thats fine.

i have seen on the ipc weboctopus.nl site that I can read the 24c32 in a cd30 and calculate the pin from the service?

has anybody used this before?

i'll be reading from the original delphi grundig cd30 one with the cd tray at the bottom that came with the car

i cant remove the display because i dont have the car with me, thanks.

hi can anyone help removing dpf I used mpps to read file and ecusafe to remove dpf .when writing the dpf off file after 75% throws a error can any one help am uploading both files thanks.

Hello. the case is Kia Carnival 2.9 CRDI VGT 2008year.

When you driveing car has no power like without turbine..

Things checked:
- fuel tank pure and clear
-fuel filter changed
-injectors checked
-egr unmounted and mounted and cleared and checked with GDS
-turbine vgt checked and works correctly
-rail pressure ok
-air meter sensor ok
-timing belt phases ok

no DTC stored.

Attention all Merc techs

I've got an sl350 (230, 272.966) with the usual RED battery warning light illuminated on the dash with "visit workshop" displayed.

Having scanned the vehicle with STAR the only related code is on the cluster (an event, NOT an error) is "fault in CAN communication with BNS". I cannot interrogate the BNS unit (which of course is probably not a coincidence).

Anyway, I carried out checks tests and have confirmed that the integrity of the interior CAN networks (X30/18 etc etc) are good. No problems caused by water ingress under either seats/carpets.
I've also checked associated relays k57/87 and prefuse (front and rear) and of course both batteries condition. All good.

I'm now pretty confident the BNS (power supply control module) in the boot (upper right wheel arch) is faulty and isnt putting the correct messages on the BUS.

Anyone got any experience of these units giving trouble - they are pretty pricey so would appreciate any input?
