I have problem with one Smart Cabrio '00 - Engine 160.910
The car stop in motion and after that doesn't start. After 10-15min the car Starts without problem.
My steps are:
Changed fuel pump -> The car start but for a little time
Changed burnt fuse on fuel pump -> The car start but for a little time
Now the fuse is good and the pump is new. Where can be the problem?
I was reading threads over and over again about what kind of interface I need for using ACTIA Multi-Diag 2013 version. I realized that I need, or original ACTIA interface (too expensive for me) or too use it's clone. This clone I searched on Ebay and can be bought for about 200$ from China for version v2011 and about 250$ for latest version 2013-1.
I am intereset in buying a clone and if my understanding is correct I need 2013 version, if i want it to work with Multi-Diag 2013 software.
Is there any other options of using diferent interfaces. I searched all over the forum and like it seems this is the only option.
I will be greatful for any other advices, where to be careful when I am buying this interface.

Hi all, i have not been on here in a while.I have a problem , the ecu on a car i have in workshop is giving me almost 19volts when it should be 8volts @3000rpm , so i guess the ecu is busted. the ecu is a bosch edc15c2 fitted to a peugeot 307 hdi. I cannot find an ecu and bsi and chip for key in breakers yard. My question is can i program another ecu ? and if so do all numbers have to match original ecu? if it is possible to program another ecu ,what software and tool is best?.

sorry must add that the voltage reading is from the ecu pin out info from a snap on solus scanner.alternator is fine .
I just installed all wiring according to WIS, OEM Backup camera and modulator. I also programmed Comand with Star to enable rear view camera. However, I do not get video.
The Comand monitor are turned black in rear shift position and some very opaque lines are running from bottom to top of the screen. Not sure where to look. Any ideas what can be wrong. Is that possible to test camera and modulator with voltage tester to find out if they are in a good working condition.
I measured the power that is coming from pin 4 from left rear lamp (E3 e3) to modulator and it has circuit around 10-12V. I am not sure how to measure video output. How correctly check if the rear view camera sends video signal?

I am having an issue with one of my Mercedes C4 multiplexers.
I cannot setup the mux and get the following error:
SD Connect hardware defective. Please contact UHD (780)
(software 11/2011)
The unit shows 00 in the bottom with the padlock. I have checked my cal.ini and have tried both part T and W with no success.
Also have checked my IP (using network cable)
In the toolkit the head shows connected but when I try and save the configuration by changing the mux number it gives me the error.
Also while trying to connect to a car (with SDNC not running) the uit will just reboot.. well the screen flashes...
The unit will boot normally, but seems to be locked up somehow..
Is there any way to force new firmware files to the unit and restore it?
