I have the Kess V2 with tricore boot cable, however when i try to do TPROT on this ECU i get the error "communication line not present or corrupted". I have been told that Kess V2 is not so good with some MED17.

I can ECU ID With FGTECH but it does not have the tprot password as it only has TPROT 8 and i believe my ECU is tprot 10.

Can someone advise if K-TAG will work with this ECU?

Does anyone know if it's possible to copy the folder or location where ALLDATA keeps the customer base/data and introduce it in another copy of the ALLDATA? Basically, our subscription ran out last year and I got the FREE Version of ALLDATA 10.53 - I would like to take my customer info from the old one and introduce it to the new one? i want to use the speed time chart from Brabus.
Has someone experience how to do this.
I think i will need the Brabus FW with higer KM (200km instead 160)

I just got an electronic unit from a VP44 Bosch injection pump..

The unit is a PSG5, wich is very known because the failure of the MOSFET / transistors

I know i must use IRLR2905 mosfet for replacement but i don't know how to connect wiring, especially because this unit has BOTH of the transistors broken, not just one, like most of all...

Well, i attach 2 images to show you the actual damage of the unit.

Hopefully somebody can post a full tutorial about repairing this type of control units...

I just received my china-clone FGtech, and have a few questions..

1. When trying to read Bosch EDC16, what kind of a power source should I use for the ECU? (that is, the small plate with switch and red diode in between the box and the ECU) should I use a car battery ?

2. as for the box itself, isnt it ok to use a 12V adapter for that ?
