I have an Xtrail 2002 2.2di (not dci) with a denso diesel pump.
Apparently this model uses consult 2 (not consult 3) for diags and most importantly for me getting the pump into relearn mode after I change the 2 suction control valves.
The later model could even be diagnosed by some clever footwork on the pedals but from what I have read the older model can only be accessed with consult 2.
Do I have any options other than a main dealer?

I have a clone CLIP interface from our oriental friends (£120 off AM***N) that came with a v129 disk.
I followed all the instructions and video that came with it but all I can get to work is a time limited trial.
I read elsewhere that the proper way to install is to use an older version, get that working then upgrade.
Can someone suggest (or preferably link a post) for a suitable 'older version' of clip that should work with a clone?

Problems with firmware not updating using new vci + BT and delphi/autocom software to update


Hi just worked out if you have wurth wow 5.03 installed then you can copy firmware files from delphi (firmware 1330 1331) into wow and update using wow updater. It may take 2/3 atemtps plus disconnecting power from vci to get it to work, but do not remove power when red light is flashing! I have now got the correct firmware for 2013.R3 using new vci plus with BT

Make sure you back up your original wow firmware before you try this!!!

Hello, i have an Opel Astra 1.7CDTI, 2007 the one with the Isuzu engine. The ECU is defective, due to moisture. I do not understand why Opel put there ECU where they do.

So the question is what type of eeprom does that ECU contain.And if it is enough just to swap the eeproms, if i decide to change the ECU.

I do not have the ECU number right now the car is in the garage. If the number is necessary for the answer i will post it on Monday.
