Dear members,
I have a car standing with a damaged IKE/KOMBI. Only a few light on the right of the cluster bright up when the ignition is on. Not possible to read out and various error codes in modules.
I have tried to change all capacitors on the circuit board but this didn't help at all. I can't see other damaged things yet (bad solder joints?).
Replaced it by one from the brake yards and that was is functional. Behave of the error codes from the ABS/ASC about different coding.
error log Wrote:5E59/E0 - Coding error.
5E1F/E0 - PT-CAN chassis number wrong / ECU not initialized.
Now I have BMW Scanner 1.4 /PA Soft. But if I want to change the VIN it says that this needs to be done by "restory to factory defaults". Tried it and tried it but doesn't work.
Tried to change the eeprom file by my self with the VIN of the car. Doesn't work either.
My last change is to change the eprom with all data to the "new" kombi/ike. Someone more experience with this?
error log Wrote:IKE -> 6.902.374 09 16 04 52 10 08/00 142286 km EZ70601 010000 93S66 - E46 (E46)
I can change the mileage but not the VIN, when changing the mileage the dot behind km comes up.
BR,
Tomba
