Hello, I'm quite new - I just got electric version of CLIO - it is model clio electrique year 1995. All I know that I need XR25 equipment to service it and select special charge modes for servicing traction NiCd batteries and to reset water light (which won't allow car to drive further). Or to take it to dealer
And my question is - can I use other diagnostic tool (which emulates XR25) + proper software?
On ebay it is possible to buy XR25 for circa 500 EUR, so - too expensive for one car. Please let me know.

Is there any universal one or need to be purchased for every car make separate?
I mostly need one for Nissan cars but if there is any that is suitable for other makes and not too expensive will be great.

Cluster displayed Adblue - 0 km
Adblue refilled .But engine not start.
Get message "Engine can't start because adblue bla-bla- bla"
Vas pc can't reset it and function of deactivation adblue not works.
Maybe it could be resetet with vag-com or other tools

I don't know if this is a good idea.. but I've really been wanted to learn how to make my own airbag tool that resets airbag .bins.. I have a large database of airbag dumps that I've worked over 10 years to collecting and mastering.
Here is my "Car Hacks" project I want to share with all members. I spend many hours to make it full working.
This week I got a baby. With my study and child I don't have many time to spend.
I got over 15Gb data it takes too much time to convert them. I am asking people to support me by donating (small amout) of money, so I can keep this service alive and up-to-date.
