I bought a universal programmer WELLON VP-390 and I want to read 29F200BC from the ECU RF5D DENSO (Mazda6 136HP).
After desoldering eprom from ECU I soldered to uniwersal adapter then tried read but programmer reports wrong connection on pins 1 and 3 (address bus) so the chip is impossible to read.
I checked all the connections, everything is ok.
I tried read other chips - computer bios - and programmer works fine.
Does it mean that memory 29F200BC is damaged?
It's no possible to solder back and check the ECU in the car beacouse I bought it just for testing.
Seller promised that ECU was operational - but who knows.
Is the any trick to read this eprom or it should be very easy?

Hi guys,
my dad has now a lttle problem with his EIS i guess.
Sometimes when he puts in the Key and its cold outside, the light goes on, but he cant start the engine. I have allready read something about those problems on a website from a guy who repares such kind of problems, but its 1. too expensive and i guess i can repair it on my own.
So, are there any "problem zones" or something like this ? Somehting like cold soldering joints ?
Thanks for your help in advance.
