Hello members i got this ecu from a friend to do a bdm recovery, because they were mesing with some tool. Afterwards they were not able to read the vin on vas or vagcom. They also told me that some lights on the dashboard dont turn off but car starts. All this thing became after trying to recode a new dashboard.

Help me please with one ML350 W166 Bluetek engine lamp was always on. Stored fault code is 154900 There is an internal fault in component Y85(Exhaust gas recirculation cooler bypass swaichover valve). This fault can be erased,but will come out after running a while. We have replaced the valve, same result. The wiring cable we checked as well, no problem.

So today I was working on a 2008 BMW 328i e90 chassis. The project at hand is to adapt a used DME module to the car. I attempted to do this by using the ECU Flasher tool in the Abritus BMW Commander. I was able to successfully autodetect ECU MDS80 and was able to read flash ok on original unit. I then swapped out units with the used one and flash programmed ECU MDS80 with original data.
It said it programmed, so I tried to sync Cas and DME. I was then prompted with SYNC NOT POSSIBLE. Furthermore I checked if the current new/used DME had the same VIN as the car I was working on. IT DID NOT!! IT still read VIN from old car.
Has anyone successfully swapped out a DME module with a used DME module? Please advise.

Hello, this friday i tried to write one file modified in this ECU by OBDII to delete one DTC error and after write registred one new code and diesel rail pressure was not correct, then i tried writing stock file to check it and continue the problem. Now renault service will update the ecu software version but i compared and the version that has and the first version that i read are the same.
Does anybody saw this problem before? wrote with KESSV2 original, Thanks.

I have some untested files but i do not have the car, only the ecu. So i would like a good file or modify my original file would be better, i believe area to be modified is 4000h to 7fff ?
As i said i have files and soft but i want to get it right first time. I understand that i can lift a pin on 29f200 (info on this is at work so cannot say wich pin) and connect to 5volts so that immo emulater is not nessarry ??
So if a member has a tried and tested soloution i would be very gratefull.

I´ve successfully installed Xentry 07 2013, WIS and EPC etc. on a Dell Latitude D620, with a LOT of help though reading posts in this great forum
I´ve bought a RS232 to RS485 cable, to connect to a original Part-D MUX.
Working great, but the indicator lights/icons in SD Connect statusbar shifts from Part-D icon, to a C4 SD Connect device when it connects to the car .(se pics)
Anyone know if it can change this?? and if this can cause any further problem?
About DEV mode in Xentry/DAS:
When i try to access some functionality, it requests some files that i don´t seems to have installed.
Must i´ll have installed some datafiles for offline SCN coding, or what is this about?? (se pic)
