Hallo mates,I was thinking of how I can build a laptop that can do diagnosis to all vehicles with OEM software.I decided to give it a try,I have a dell latitude e 6400 with a docking station for rs232 port as you know most of this software depend on it .this is the specs,4gb ram,500bg hdd,dvd rw,etc
this is how i did it mates,I format the hard drive using xp cd,then create partitions using the same cd,c=60gb.d=10gb,e=22gb,f=30gb,then I leave the rest unallocated,i install xp in c,i then install all drivers,then i install das and xentry,wis,sd media n all stuff needed for Mercedes,
later on i put my windows xp cd n create another partition 60 gb,and install a second operating system,win xp,then another partation n still install another operating system,Now I hav 3 operating systems with all the drivers installed,I boot with the last installed n edit boot loader,properties,I call the first os,Other automotive clinic,the other os,construction equipment and special porpose vehicles,the last one is star diagnosis system,i make the loader delay for 60seconds timeout,I already hav star diagnosis with me now,I boot to the construction equipment n install cummins,cat et,perckinsest,etc,then boot to the other vehicles clinic n install techstream,vcards,esi tronic,etc but one thing I was not able to instal is nissan consualt III,does anyone knu how to edit registry n make an ordinaly laptop loook like panasonic toughbook?Dont ask me why I have 3 operating system,anyway,i can answer that,becoz I dont want to overload one os,every os here boots up very first,I am also left with a partation to store large database,but i dont think 500 gb is enuf for me.b4 i forget,someone show us how to have consualt working on a non panasonic laptop.am very poor in english..

Will Techstream pc software work with a vag 409.1? Or is there any conversion I need to make on the cable.

Hey brothers, thanks for the 10.10 torrent. I have all the isz images on my hard drive, but the thing is I need to mount and unmount the files every time I need a different car. Plus, it gets annoying when you don't know what CD the car belongs to. Is there any way or program I can use to merge all the image files into one bootable iso file? I tried merging them with poweriso, but it justs stores the file, it doesn't boot them, so it's basically like a .zip file. Please help me out!!! Any way to have all the image files (there are 25) all emulating at the same time would be greatly appreciated. God Bless

I have a Das/Wis/EPc disk with a C3 unit. Everything is working fine except the online BG undates. When I run the program, it downloads the updates, but will not let me install them. It gives an error msg:

I have loaded the latest Commomlic.dll I can find. Any ideas or suggestions?

I have broblem with renault megane 1,6 -2004
The Airbag light is on, i get faultcode b1001 (belt tensioner driver site)
first it looked like it was loose connection somwhere as the light sometimes was off ond sometimes on.
The loose connection seem to be in the light and blinker switch
as when i tilted it, the airbaglamp started to flash everytime i did.
Is it possible that the lightswitch is the problem, and if so any way to check?

Hi, I am working on an E46 318i that has a valvetronic problem. I diagnosed it with GT1 and found this error. 2862DME: Variable Valve Gear, Voltage Supply, Power Output Stage, Deactivation Faulty. I think that the valvetronic ECU needs to be replaced so I brought the car to the BMW dealership (without letting them know about my diagnosis) since my GT1's Coding/Programming tab is greyed out. It was verified that this ECU is faulty. The cost of this ECU if I buy it from the dealer is twice that from other legitimate (brand new) sources so my choice would be to purchase from an outside source (e.g., RealOEM) and then do the coding and programming myself except that my GT1 doesn't have this function.

I just found out that there is a Progman system embedded in my IBM T30 where the DIS also resides so I will do the coding and programming myself. I need to know if I will need a software CD for this procedure or will it just be a matter of extracting the coding information from the faulty ECU and programming it into the new one. I have experience in this kind of stuff so this will be fairly easy, except of course if a software CD similar to the ones used for programming an entire vehicle will be needed, which I do not have. Any ideas guys?

Hi guys I have a 2001 Astra G in my shop for not starting. It has 13.8 volts in the battery and when I scan it with the latest Opcom it came up with code P1612 which is immo not reading. I have tried to access and reset the immo via Opcom but it asks me for a car-pass security code which the customer doent have. Is there any way I can use Opcom to read the security code?
