i am having a problem updating my xentry version i have the 10/2008 version and i want to upgrade it to the 03/2011 i downloaded the jc recordings guide i went through it step by step but i had a problem with an error in the setup which is Driver repair not successfull, AppId is even : 252 1.shut own system
2. make system free from tension ( batteries and ac adaptor ) for 10 sec
3.restart system an check xentry starkey
and aboce all that i can access the icon update das which jc recordings made it from the path c:\windows\zak\starsetup and the i took the starsetup icon and send it to the desktop as a shortcut and rename it as update das but when ever i try to access it the error comes out

Thanks to the kind help of many folks here I have 01.2011 running well.
DAS, WIS, and Xentry all seem quite stable.
So while trying to get to Xentry SIM going I notice that the W212 is gone.
I am sure it was there before.
This has me quite baffled. I did a search here and at a couple of other
forums. It seems the W212 should be there, but on mine it is not.
I was trying the Xentry SIM to help another member initialize a new
component on a W212.
Do I need to reinstall, or is there a patch for this?
Sorry for another dumb question.
Found a file called prototypen.rar but not sure it is the fix.

My car has original audio 5
i find all the cables in ebay and the radio works ok for one hour but i switch off the car and now when i switch on the radio it says "Anti-theft Protection activated. Please visit your Mercedes-Benz workshop."
What can i do?
I have the vin code of the original car owner audio 50.
I have interface MBSTAR, is posible do something?
