I have a question for the porsche experts.
I've read here and in some other places that the piwis tester from porsche is
based on the same hardware of KTS series.
Seems that piwis can work with a KTS head providing to source a suitable cable and perform a firmware reflash.
Someone wrote KTS 520 and KTS650.
I've the opportunity to source a used KTS550, which is the KTS520 plus a 2 channel scope.
Can the piwis software work with KTS550 (with suitable cable and firmware reflash)?
It's very important for me, can someone help me, just to sort out any doubt before buying the used KTS.
Last question.Are other KTS ,such us KTS540 and KTS570, capable of working with piwis?

I have a 2003 Smart Roadster (or 2) and therefor I do not need a DAS newer than that and I have heard that there is less locks and restrictions on the older versions.
Where can I find an older version of DAS?

I intend to install a old version of DAS Xentry WIS 03.2010.As we know DAS is always full but WIS 3.2010 is a updated version of 1.2010.First must be installed DAS and for this I must set data back in 3.2010 and start installation.After finishing DAS install it need install WIS standalone 1.2010 and now I need sett data back to 1.2010 and start installation.This setting back to 1.2010 will not harm DAS installation ?The second problem I have is about witch SD Media version to install for matching in this configuration ?

Hi all

Ive tried to reset the airbag on a Fiat Coupe 20VT but no joy as fiatecuscan wont connect to the airbag ecu. I am using a KKL vag interface with a fiat 3 pin lead connected via ODBC.

When I connect the fiatecuscan to the engine ecu it recognises it and reads it fine, but the airbag ecu does not connect....

help !
