Hi friends I’m new to reprogramming modules and would like your advice., I do diagnostics and a little remapping for fun but lately I’ve been asked if I can do a few reprogramming jobs. Example one is a corrupt BMW FRM repair and another is a 2018 Audi Q5 a used ABS module needs to be installed so the old module data needs to be transferred over, amongst others. I have turned away the jobs as I currently do not own tools for this work. Shops have donated modules for me to practice with and I am eager to learn.
Right now I’m looking at VVDI Prog and Multi Prog. I’m not sure if VVDI prog or Multi Prog would be better for these types of services? My understanding so far: Multi Prog is the successor for VVDI Prog. Multi Prog does everything the VVDI Prog does but is still a work in progress, some stuff doesn’t work? Is it getting better? We’re approaching of the end of the year 2024, has there been progress in bug fixes?
What am I looking to do is cloning modules. Not wanting to do any immo and key jobs but maybe in the future. Ability to read ECM’s is not important as I have tools for that already.
The VVDI Prog seems proven and costs less than Multi Prog. But looking into the future would it be better to spend the extra money now on a Multi Prog?
If you don’t recommend either VVDI Prog or Multi Prog for this purpose what tool would you recommend? Are there any tools coming out in 2025 that I should wait for? I work on European cars. Unfortunately I am on a budget and cannot afford more than one tool or multiple factory scan tool subscriptions yet. Just need a tool to get myself started.
I removed chip 93lc66a from m535 and pulled dump. Have codes but my understanding is that since alarm was activated 3 yrs ago and my pops lost the key that i want be able to gain access to program new key. I don't have program to enable programming in bin file or hex. Can anybody do this for me or how do i do it manually in hex?
Hey guys, I'm deleting as soon as I get back from this trip, but for now I have 10 remaining error. I tried resetting with vediamo and it worked and then came back. I reset multiple times after unlocking with that and DTS, no luck.

I’d like to retrofit a virtual cockpit in an Ibiza 6J. Is it possible to use a second-hand part for this? Considering the immobilizer, gekowfs2 and the "fazet-used parts request," or is that not applicable for this model?
If i need to fill in that form, is there anyone that can do this remotely for me? I do not have official odis. (I have Passthru and vas6154 clone)

Hello, I have a problem with updating the software to the latest version. When I try to update, the error is as in the picture: flashware not found. telematics 1668274600 cff 1669023506 and 1669029804. The disc is 100% functional, tested many times. I even loaded another hu45 to check it and it worked 100%. I recorded several discs and the same thing, so it's 100% not the fault of the disc. The CD player reads discs with music CDs and movies dvd no problem.even though I replaced it with another one and the same thing happened. I ran out of ideas.

Hi guys. I need a dump of the 06A906032DR micro MPC. Does anyone have a copy in their database? Many thanks in advance. I need to clone this ECU and there is none at a good price. I want to try to clone with another similar one and I can't access my MPC with KTAG because it doesn't communicate. I do have an EEprom and flash. I'm missing the MPC.
Hello guys, i have water damaged ecu from vw passat, which i cant read (pcr2.1). I have second hand ecu with same hardware number (03L907425C) from golf 6. I cant adapt it with odis (its gives me error while starting immo adaptation). With immo off in flash i have another problem glow plug light blinking. I have attached the files, if anyone can give any advice or help I would be very grateful.
