I sent it to a place in California that said they fix them but they only soldered the connections, when I installed error is still present. Bad sensor I guess. I find on eBay from softelectronic New tcu virgin state. I have c4 das and want to know what options I have. I also have many used tcu, can i somehow fit on my car and program? for vp44 You can read direct Eprom 24c02 but have write protection...
the solution is
cut sda scl and vcc

I have a rover 75, It have starting problems, I changed ecu kit, and everything is OK.
After a few months, the battery got flat then the instrument panel display do not show some warning signs like: fog lights on, the side repeaters do not blink. With WOW/AUTOCOM/DELPHI I find the following fault code :
Instrument (Instrument - Instrument panel - Diagnose on PIN 8) DTC Description
1 - Diagnose automatic transmission - Present
5 - VIN mismatch with light switch module - Present

With FGTECH I extracted file from the original ECU then I inject it in new one (replaced). but always same problem.
Could someone compare the 2 file extracted and read/change VIN with actual SAARJS

we changed:
ICP, CKP, injectors, injection oil pressure pump,
hydraulic valve lifter, turbo charger
we test 3 diferent ECM
some else b having this problem
