changing the engine control unit, I have to the old control unit data and can record. Do I need to change the IMMO block or I need disconnect IMMO?

I have a big problem with this car. I can´t remove the dtc´s from the ecu and the dashboard airbag ligth.

I try with a clear crash data made by carprog, ecuvonix etc... it´s the same file.

Programing without any problem but, when i connect the Airbag ecu with a clear data in the car, (clear the airbag dtc´s with Launch diagnosis ok) the ecu rewrite old dtc´s in the dump clear file, is this common ? it´s good?

Anyone can help me?

I recently obtained a Fgtech.eu v54- from a chiptuner

i have a customer who had a previous remap and dpf & egr delete recently he had a failed steering lock and replaced the ecu and steering lock and key, but now his dash is lite with fault codes a told him he needs it remaping again .....
he asked me if i could remove the file from his old ecu and flash back too the new ecu.....????

can i do this by fitting the old ecu and pulling the file or will i need doing via Bdm (bench)
or is it possible to refit the old ecu and code to the new key & lock ?
or remove the immobiliser?

i was advised by a chiptuner that if i try flash the file with the fgtech he sold me either read or write it WILL BRICK the ecu ??

FGtech.eu (never tried bdm before)
snap on solus pro
Winsols
chip programmer
audi immob off tool

what are the options??

i have a mercedes benz 210 220cdi but this car has more black smoke , i check for air leak but is ok ,turbo is ok , and no consuming oil , iniector are ok , MAF is new , collector is ok, intercooler is ok , i think if i tuning the ecu , can remove the black smoke?

I have read 24c04 memory and mcu from ews the two file and the file from ecu , are attached, and i have read the isn code (FD3C or 3CFD) i have test the 2 code with ews emulator (BMW EWS2 EWS3.2 EMULATOR) but without succes.
I was wrong isn code or can not use this emulator?

Anyone can help me for total immo off in this car? I'm desperate

Volvo S40 2.0D with CEM 8690719.
   

Car is running ok, but
wipers, turn signs... not working.
It is diagnosed as faulty CEM.
I have used CEM.

At this type of CEM: is car VIN/keys inside processor memory (eeprom)?

Is there any direction how to clone used CEM to work with the car?
a) change processors to used CEM?
b) use some BDM tool?
c) something else..

I have a Citroen Xsara Picasso with burned ecu EDC16C34 and i need to replace ecu.
I have another ecu from a citroen c4 same engine and same hardware ecu, what procedure i need to swap the ecu.I make virgin bsi by fill with FF seeprom 95160 and now i want to adapt the donor ecu.How i do it, do i need to make virgin the ecu?

i just mod astra J to DPF off, seem ok, but now i want brake inside DPF, but not sure location DPF because i see lambda and one DPF sonde but not see seconde dpf sonde ... so i doubt about catalisor and dpf

anybody know if both are in same part, or if catalisor is before dpf, or if dpf is under car ....

Just started to use a digiprog Clone. And my first post, ow yeah.

And I want to reset ODO of a fiesta 2009 HCS12. Type dash see pictures.

I've already soldered the wires as explained in the manual for version 1.
But I get a Error init (see picture).

I had to reverse the wiring colors for my version of plug 48:
Red - 17 - Yellow
White - 7 - White
Black - 13 - Brown
Green - 18 - Green
And I assume when you look at the parrallel connector that the numbering starts from left to right with the upper row 1 - 13 lower 14 - 25

I've measured the white wire, during init of digiprog, this was 5V. i assume this is the wake-up line.
And the green wire, I suppose this is the data line. I've added a screenshot of the data on this line.

But now I'm not sure if I have the right version.
Which version do I have if I read this code on the microcontroller:
MC9S12HZ256VAL
3L16Y
(O or Q) ?QY0934

Does the last rule of the chipnumber need no be identical to the one in the manual ?

Any extra info would really be appreciated.
