Hi all,

Firstly, to provide potentially useful information, I have TIS 2000 (for Opel / GM v92.0 G) and a Vetronix Tech2 with the Opel / Vauxhall card (also have a Holden Export card). I've managed to set my Tech2 to Security Level 3 thanks to a post from Patrian and I've confirmed I'm able to reflash ECUs successfully. I have a 2008 Vauxhall VXR8 (which is a rebadged Holden HSV Clubsport E3, aka Pontiac G8 in the US), it comes with a terrible head unit (aka car stereo) that I'd like to change features on.

My problem is twofold;

1. I'd like to change the welcome / boot up graphic from "Vauxhall VXR" to "Holden HSV", I believe this is already added to the head unit code and it's just a case of setting it in the ROM (more technical information is in this thread posted by paul450).

2. I'd also like to disable display blanking when using rear aux input in a moving vehicle (this is also known as enabling "Video In Motion"). This can be done via a module you plug in that reflashes the head unit automatically, but this module is expensive, I've already spent a lot of money on the Tech2, and I believe this should be possible via Tech2 reprogramming if a plug-in module can enable it permanently (even after module removed)

Does anyone know how to do these things and can offer advice on how to do this? Perhaps point me in the direction of any required software to do the job (if applicable)?

Hi All;

I've downloaded the JLR v128 from torrent last night, and installed the software today on my laptop.

I've done and followed the "JLR License.exe" procedure but the software still asks me for the username/password, i've tried the follwoing combination found in the forum somewhere but still no luck: V128 = JLR519128 / X152L322

I have tried with or without the internet, rebooted, killed all processes, etc.

Is it possible to use the software without a valid account, if so can you help in cracking tis one pls?

Hello, have some problem and hope any can help me...

I have an SD Connect MUX with 05/2012 Software... And W210, 639 (Vito) Year 2003 and Year 2003 W211 E55 functioning (all in DAS but the W210 makes partly in HHT!).

So and now comes ... Have here a same Vito 639 but Year 2007 (so its newer) and a NEW W212 Year 09/2011, the Vito get about DAS and the W212 via Xentry. Both can not be detected automatically and can not be (come anywhere only exclamation mark at short test) read. I suspect quite strongly it is up to any configuration. But where? Can someone help me? Sitting here for so eternally

Hi all, I have a 2000 xsara picasso with an ecu that has blown pins after incorrect jump start.Can someone please advise me of best cause of action , i have been told to get second hand ecu with matching numbers (obviously) but cant source one . I have found other bosch ecu with bsi and trasponder and key, but have been told these different numbered parts may start vehicle but i may be left without dash function such as fuel or temp gauge.Hopeing someone can shed some light on this for me ......

Hello, I bought a mercedes W169, the odometer 170000km, I wish to correct the odometer using the stardiagnosis and Compact4. I read on the web that this is possible only volumes by inserting a filter signal can bus.
Any of you have experience in this field? Can you advise me some tools or some alternative dealer?
