I'm pulling my hair out here , being having all sorts of problem with DAS have c4 cloned mux and now i,m getting fault (1.2)-2..528.9878
Initialization of diagnosis multiplexer failed.
Possible cause :
Diagnostic system data sectors are incomplete or faulty.
I have tried many times to update to the latest ESItronic, but every time the autorun menu (Bosch Applications Menu v2.58) gets f***d-up and I can't start either ESI or Diagnosis (they are greyed-out).
I'm talking about the application in the path "baa\Win9x_WinME_WinXP\RBsetup.exe" for Windows XP, but the same happens with DSA (Diagnostics Software menu) wich has the same functionality for Vista/7.
I find it very usefull because I can control and start the application without using a mouse.
I have tried literally everything without any success. Every time, I have to reinstall Windows in order to have them back at a working condition.
Can anyone help? I can't find WHERE the menu gets its parameters. I've checked the file c:\Windows\RBSystem.ini, the registry, every .ini and text file but nothing seems to relate with the problem. Only Windows reinstallation solves the issue!!!!
I have asked the official Bosch support in my country (Greece) but they had no answer. Please, if any of you has an answer or a different approach, I would to hear it!!! Especially from someone with a non English version of Windows XP (I suspect localization problems)
Do you meet this problem: try to update the firmware of super vag k+can plus 2.0, but the update fails. The machine does not work and shows serious error, tries to update again but now it keeps failing. Also you are not able to enter the main menu.
Some of users encounter the problem due to the internet problem or poor connection with computer during updating, which causes the disorder of the firmware.
So please delete the log.bin generating at the software directory and enter the saft mode trying to update once again:
How to enter the saft mode?
When you turn on your pc; the first screen on you monitor is from your motherboard; but after that this scren press F8 many times and display a new menu with different option like this: Safe mode
Safe mode with network supported.
This version resolves the problem: trying to update the firmware of super vag k+can plus 2.0, it shows "device not connected", but in fact in device manager it is recognised by computer andshows "human interface".
