New to the MB world, I recently purchased a used GLC 2017 imported from Japan. I am interested in changing the region of the MBUX from Japan to EU. The seller I bought it from did make some changes such as FM Frequency Unlock but the maps are still Japan Version. Is there any guide which I can follow to install EU Maps.
Previously I have done the same to VWs and BMWs but not sure where to start with MB vehicles. Attached is the currently installed Map Version.
I have an Audi Q2 2018 and it does not have a passenger airbag deactivation switch like most european cars. I need it because I have a new born on the way. The car is a japan import to the EU.
The airbag module PN is 5Q0959655BJ. I also have a Golf MK7 which has the same module and also has the airbag deactivation feature so I know it is possible. I found the wiring diagram and parts I need but not sure coding wise. Is it simple as turning on something in long coding or is there something else?
Tried to learn a new key to a Passat 2013 with Autel
Read the immo Data from EDC17 and the 7 byte from the working key.
But can`t learn the secound key .
Now i have tried only learn the ori key again, but this car also have troubles with the ELV and Ignition does not turn on always.
At now the ori key also not work.
Have now read the 95320 from komfort modul with a clamp, but the dump is corrupt.
Should i desolder the dump or have i damaged the dump at reading with clamp ?
How can i solve this ?
If the key is not matching can i turn on the ignition ?

I have a Golf 7 that doesnt start.
I have attached the stored fault codes, normally i wouldnt need to ask for help but the amunt of "shorted to ground" fault codes got me concerned.
Before it wouldnt start only 3 cylinders ran and after it was shut off it never started again.
What could cause these codes?
Hi, ca somebody check this file? Car has cat delete and maybe some other stuff done to it, it drives ok and no dtcs, but it smells of raw fuel comparing to to other 550i with cat deletes. Car is hodgepodge so it wouldn't surprise me if file is shit.
Hi, so I have a problem and I dont have experience with this ECU. For context is a Sismos PPD1.2 03G906018EM 5WP45562 AE, from a Passat 170cv.
So I took the ecu out because the car is stupid now and dont start when engine runs hot so I was going to try the HotStart fix to see if was an injection problem.
I used my old KTAG (ksuite 3.xx, last version, never failed me), so I made the BDM connection, power and grounds by pin and read the ECU no problem and wrote the a new flash, but I didnt use the original flash the I read before, I trusted a friend and he gave me a file for a stage1 with th mod I need. Ktag wrote the file no problem.
I plug the ECU in the car and it didnt start, obd diag didnt recognize the ECU, so I went back to the bench made all the connection but now eeprom reads and writes ok, but flash when reading, at the end when you go to save gives "Checksum Error", and when writing as soon as you select a file gives the same error and aborts.
So I went on configs of Ktag and disabled the automatic checksum and I can read and write if I skip the checksum. So I flashed the original file but car still cant recognize the ECU and I dont know why the Checksum error happened because I checked on Winols and checksums is ok. It started after the initial flash write and I cant fix it.
Can I assume the ECU died? Or is there a fix /recovery process?
Because now Im afraid because I dont know if the file my friend gave me fucked with processor or it was the ktag that killed the unit, it never failed me even in densos and new generation ECU and I did this same unit a few years back (FAP EGR) with a kess clone and worked fine.

Hi, can someone help me with a diagram for BSI? I need information on where the wires responsible for the sliding door information are located, the car doesn't have them but shows the information that they are open... Because of this, the central locking doesn't work, there is no option to code this...
