I have been investigating the possibilities of DPF OFF for Ford SID206 ECU (DPF OFF the same as Ford SID202 if I'm not mistaken). I have contacted some people here but they said they need Full BDM. Is it possible to do DPF OFF with only OBD read? Anyone willing to do it?
Have a few Peugeot at my work place, complain of high operating temperature, around 95 degree with aircond on at hot weather.
I would like to know if we can adjust cooling fan for earlier activate, for lower working temperature by Diagbox or PP2000.

Hi all, I'm new to this stuff so please be patient with me. I just bought a Chinese VCM2 on Amazon, and I was very eager to use it but unfortunately I'm having issues. I want to figure out if the issues are due to a bad device/software, or if there's an issue with my computer. Basically, I installed IDS v86 (later tried v84 also) and the software seemed to install fine. But when I hooked up the VCM to the car and to the computer, all I kept getting was "IDS to VCM cable not detected..." The device beeped and lights went from red to green, so something was definitely going on, but no luck. I'm pretty sure that at least my computer showed that it was connected to a new device, if I remember correctly, but the most recent times that I tried, my computer isn't even showing that there is a device connected to it, although it does beep when I put the USB in (I guess maybe now it's not even showing it now because my car battery got quite low and wasn't enough to power it? Does that make sense?). People on Amazon reviews said that it supposedly only works on Windows XP, so after all this I downloaded Windows Virtual Machine and ran Windows XP Mode, and installed the software there. Still nothing. It's very frustrating, and I would definitely appreciate help.
(Truth is, one reason I'm leaning towards thinking that it is an issue with my computer is because I have an ELM327 that used to work fine, and recently when a friend had to reformat my computer, suddenly the ELM isn't working anymore. The computer is able to locate it, and says it pairs with it, but none of the programs can "find" the device. When I looked which com port it occupies to verify if that was an issue, it listed two com ports, incoming and outgoing, but neither of them had a number! which I thought was weird. So I don't know what's going on, but might these two issues be connected? Otherwise my computer seems to be running fine. Dell Inspiron N5010.) I would really appreciate any advice, thanks so much!!! Just please try to keep it on the less technical side because I can handle the basics with computers but I'm not a big computer guy; I want to learn more...
I have a 2012 Mercedes CLS550 (W218) and from what I understand, their are 3 generations of the firmware (Gen 1,2 and 3.)
I have read in a few places that as of 2014 the gen 2 firmware is able to be applied over gen 1. Gen 3 requires different hardware so I could not apply that.
Does anyone have any more information as to what bulletins have been released and/or where I can get a service disc to update to Gen 2 firmware?
