I did buy carprog for airbag crash data erasing, but the thing is it gets old and can't be updated easily as it's a clone, and even the original is not covering the latest models, so I was looking for Tachosoft but it works with points!!
so the question is, is there a tool that can do airbag reset other than these two and at what price??

Hi guys,
I decided to write up one more video tutorial for the beginners on this wonderful website! This is a video including the steps which I believe would have expedited my learning process while also making me more comfortable during my first coding session. We all know coding isn't really difficult as long as you're using the pre-defined functions available to you; however, if you're anything like me your first session is somewhat intimidating.
In this video, I briefly explain how to check error codes using INPA. I also show the proper set up of a NCS Expert manipulation-enabled profile (What I named 'God Mode' in my setup). I complete the video by reading the TRC file from the KOMBI unit and writing the lines: BC_DIGITAL_V and BC_DIGITAL_V_KORREKTUR as aktiv.
Basic Coding with NCS Expert (Tutorial)
BC_DIGITAL_V = the digital speedometer (aktiv = enabled; nicht_aktiv = disabled)
BC_DIGITAL_V_KORREKTUR = the 5% speed bias (aktiv = bias on; niche_aktiv uses "uncorrected" or GPS/True speed)
These are the values I enabled during my testing session - (This may serve as a guide):
Discription, Module Name, Coding Line
Seat Belt Chime (Driver's Side 'Ding'), ABG, SBR_FAHRER_1
Seat Belt Chime (Passanger's Side 'CIC Display'), ABG, SBR_BEIFAHRER_2_CD
Seat Belt Reminder (Driver's Side 'CIC Display'), ABG, CC_GURTWARNUNG_1
Seat Belt Chime, (Passanger's Side 'Ding'), ABG, SBR_BEIFAHRER_1
Unlock Door upon Key removal, CAS, ER_KEYOUT_AUTOVR
Close window and moon roof with Key lock and unlock, CAS, KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB (Must have ASP_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP enabled for either to work).
Use windows after key out/ignition off, CAS, FH_ABSCHALTKRITERIUM
Disable Safety Notice in CIC display, CIC, LEGAL_DISCLAIMER_TIME
Allow window operation while door open, NFRM, TUERAUF_STOP_MAUT
Fold Side mirrors with key fob, NFRM, ASP_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP (MUST have KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB enabled for either to work)
Enable Fog lights with welcome lights upon unlock, NFRM, WL_NSW
End windshield wiper cycle after ignition off, JBBF/2JBBF, ZYCLUS_VOLLEND_KLR_AUS
Digital Speedometer, KOMBI, BC_DIGITAL_V
Disable Door Ajar/Open Ding, KOMBI, CC_ZUENDSCHLUESSEL
Instrument Cluster always backlight, KOMBI, M_TAG_SKALENBELEUCHTUNG
Digital Speedometer shows true speed, KOMBI, BC_DIGITAL_V_KORREKTUR
I strongly recommend using NCSDummy, which is a free download (google it), as some of these lines are not a simple aktiv/Nicht_aktiv. Some are actually reversed while the CIC warning is disabled by the command "kein_ld"
Disabling seatbelt dings and warning should not be done and may expose you to liability. Do not use these settings as this guide is for informational purposes only. The same goes for the navigation warning. You are responsible for all changes and issues that arise. I offer no warranty on the information I provide and accept no liability in the case of damage of any form result.
This coding was done on a test vehicle and not my personal 'daily driver'
