Hi folks i done a software update on cim module using the mdi and global tis v32 and it all went well except the dash lights went out and never come back on now its showing cim not present on my tech2 any ideas how to recover it and secondly can i fit used module to car and program it using my tech2 or mdi

I recently bought a new car and have been looking into changing a few parameters inside ECU. Since our tuning scene is mostly buying tuning files and I have some worries about the automatic gearbox torque limit and I also want to get to know my car and tuning in general better, I was thinking of looking into it myself. Currently I read a hell of a lot of documentation regarding TC1796 (the brain) and already did some reversing of what it's doing, found some maps but at this point could really use a DAMOS to get a few more information about it. Since I know DAMOS files are kind of a trade secret, I'm willing to pay for it. Anyone?

I have a problem with bmw e70 35d edc 17cp9, 2011. AdBlue went out on a cluster is a red "do not restart", 0 km. I filled AdBlue, both tanks are full, but the car still does not start. Anyone know how to reset the fluid level? greetings

Hello. I have orginal carprog full with lib file and my question is how to clone? It is possible? Today i chane SN in clone to original and i put lib file with same SN and connect and error show CRC Lib file.... later i read AT88 and write with clone same result.Maybe i can change bad SN in MCU i don't now what is wrong.I'm waiting for your suggestions.

Just installed latest update for Abrites AVDI which requires activation over the internet every 30 days. Diagnostic functions working ok and GlobalTIS SPS working ok. However there is a problem with Tech2win not communicating with vehicle after update installed. Anyone else found this problem??
Tech2win used to work fine before avdi update so wondering if the new passthru driver has a bug.

[1] If you have error like this



you should remove block from all files in Rheingold folder. For example C:\Program Files\Rheingold\SQLiteDBs and C:\Program Files\Rheingold\TesterGUI\bin\Release.
Select file and click right button, open Properties and click Unblock, after click Apply.



To unblock all files in folder Rheingold by 1 click, open Windows PowerShell like Admin (Run As Administrator).
By default Win 7 has 3d version of PowerShell, but we need install 4th version, downloading it from: >>>Microsoft<<<
for Win 7 x64 file Windows6.1-KB2819745-x64-MultiPkg.msu, and for Win x32 file Windows6.1-KB2819745-x86-MultiPkg.msu

In PowerShell you should execute command

gci ’С:\Program Files\Rheingold’ -Recurse | Unblock-File and press Enter (After executing of this command Rheingold starts working on 100%. Test plans, service functions etc)
And do not close PowerShell after you pressed "enter". It can take about 5 minutes to finish. Nothing will appear on screen, but processes is in work.

[3] If you do not need China language you can delete 2 files from folder SQLiteDBs:
xmlvalueprimitive_ZHCN.sqlite and streamdataprimitive_ZHCN.sqlite (you save 5GB of HD space)

You can do the same with Russian language if do not use it. English and German languages are base and should exist always in folder SQLiteDBs.

[4] To resolve connecting problems with ECU modules in old cars you can increase response time on receive and connecting commands in Ediabas.ini.
Old INPA trick. (This trick affects on all cables ICOM, K-Line adapter, K-Dcan etc. May be it will help someone)

About ECU modules you cannot find/detect by Rheingold but they exist in your car. Here we have problems with KMMDATEN.
Try to replace KMMDATEN folder from earlier version of Rheingold. Put old folder in a new version (but do backup of original folder)

[9] How use Launcher.exe

After that you put Rheingold in C:\Program Files\Rheingold, create shortcut of Launcher.exe on a desktop.
Open by right mouse click shortcut's Properties and in the end of Target path add space and number 1. Then click Apply and OK.

[10] To get work Print dialog before printing anything in Rheingold you need do changes in file ISTAGUI.exe.config

change line

hi!

I am having a CLS 350 model with 722.9 auto trasmission!When i am driving the changes of the gear they are not normal.Then the ESP ABS warning light comes on.Then the TIRE pressure and SPEEDTRONIC.The steering is very heavy.Finally the marks on the display P,R,D,1,2,3,5,6 are gone!!
I changed the ESP TPL module but the problem is here!!


STAR says on EGS:CAN BUS OFF and on ESP :CAN communication problem

I have problem with Toyota corola 2D 4D4 2003year.
Car won't start , i cheked:
1 - No fuel pressure.
2 - In engine ecu no faults.
3 - In cluster immo light are ok .
4 - Pressure regulator came +5V.

Were can be problem maybe someone have same problem ?
