I recently purchased a chinese Clone of the Galletto 3 Fgtech.
It will not wake the ecu, I have tried the ghost image that comes with the unit also, I have tried a fresh installation of windows xp, SP3 with Asian languages installed. STILL NO LUCK :-(
I select driver, try to do a ECU Data, but get a Wake error. IS this unit dead?
Now...if this unit is dead...
whats the best clone to get? KESS, Galletto? And where can I get it from?

Ecu Found on KLine
Looking to purchase some hardware very soon for the task above and want to avoid a costly mistake. A generous member recommend Byteshooter and said it could write to this ECU.
Does Kess or Galletto also write to this ECU? Everything so car is telling me that the ECU must be removed from the car, which is fine.
I just want to avoid getting a Chinese clone that could cause damage to unit.
Would like to have some suggesting on what of the three should be purchased as well as a reputable vendor?
Hi guys,
My last post was deleted (dunno why >.>!).
Anyway....
Be aware from http://www.epc724.com, they are fake seller.
He changed site now.... ---> Heavy Company (this is the newest)
Anything you buy they will send you only a pile of old cd, nothing else. They prolly don't have nothing, just cheating.
Has anyone got an English version of this software pls heres a German version or software I can use my VAG K+CAN CABLE WITH TO READ AND WRITE TO ECU THANKS.
I have a damaged W209 EIS (MCU HC912 mark 0K50E).

Hello,
I just bought a MB MUX C3. It came from China but had a label on it --"Made in France". There is a place in Canada where they sell the Actia C3 for much more. There customer service indicated that they have the top quality MUX and the USA government buys from them to service their Mercedes. I would like to know if that is true.
I thought we only we have two kinds of MUXs -- one is the OEM from Mercedes which sells for over $20,000 or the various "made in China" ones?
I also heard the only way to find out if you have a good one is to open the MUX and look at circuits and the motherboard -- if I see poor quality soldering, it is probably poorly made?
I came across to a strange problem on Renault Laguna II.
Plate number lights were not working so I changed bulbs and try it, with no success. Then I checked wiring and it seems that positive voltage is always present. So I suppossed that negative is controlled by car computer. Any idea for solution ? Is it possible that some kind of over current protection has activated or something similar. All fuses for lighting are good.
Thanks for replies.
