Hi everybody! I have 2001 MB S500 with physically broken ignition switch(I guess somebody put prybar instead of the key). So I got used EIS, took coil out and soldered it into original EIS. Now, when I put the key in, it is accepted, I can turn Ignition ON. But there is a message on Cluster: "COMPUTING DATA PLEASE WAIT" with KEY symbol in the middle. And the car won't start. I checked codes with DAS, see nothing related to a problem. EIS data shows all ok, like start enable YES, and everything else seems ok.
Do I have to program a key? What else could it be?
