Hello,I have a problem with my C3.
If I read some fault codes and want to erase them then on the screen there is a message like: turn switch off ignition.
After that normaly it says swicth on ignition and fault is erased.
Now this is happened,after message switch ignition off it says not turn ignition switch on and fault erased.
I wait 5 sec. and turn ignition on and somehow fault is erased!
When I look one screen back then I see that fault is erased without this message.

Has somebody an idea?!?

I've signed up and introduced myself - great site btw....

One of the main reasons for signing up here is for some assistance with a TPMS (or RDK as its known in Germany) on a 2005 R171 SLK

First, some back ground...

UK Car... AMG model
DAS Version 03 2012 on a Dell Laptop, Chinese clone MUX

The hardware is installed (wheel sensors and the ECU in the rear electronics bay) and connected up. It's been through the initial startup and as far as DAS is concerned, it's fully functional - I can see the actual tire pressures and temperatures (after the wake up period) amd all of the activiations and messages (in the actual values section)

CGW is configured to show the options for the Tire Pressure Monitor (option 475) and the Tire pressure warning is disabled (both in the CGW module and the ESP module)

Using Dev mode DAS, I can enable the car outline display (from the main mileage reading, press up on the steering wheel arrow buttons to get to this once enabled) and the reset button on the side of the cluster then acts as a reset for the TPMS values - when pressed the screen changes to the 'Are tire pressures correct' screen, and you can select Yes or No with the + /- buttons on the wheel..

The snag is there is now pressure displayed, just dashes...

Inspection with DAS shows an error in the IC - 9115 - Fault in CAN communication with the control unit RDK tire pressure control....

I also get a malfunction showing on the dosplay when starting the car - picture of a tire with an exclamation mark and the message saying Display Fault, visit workshop (if I disable the car outline display in the variant coding section of the IC this error goes away, but so does the TPMS display....)

Kind of stuck now - been through stacks of options, had the car set as US / CDN as opposed to ROW and re done the initial startup, checked all of the variant coding options in the RDK (N88) module - all seem fine...

It's odd - I can access and fully interrogate the TPMS ECU in DAS and read all of the correct values (it shows pressure and temperature changes when they have been made), it just seems that the TPMS ECU isn't talking to the IC - have I missed anything or has anyone else got any extra info on the TPMS retrofit...

Hello guys,

I can't get my computer to install SD 01/2011. When I hit the "setup.exe" I get that message:

---------------------------------
"You have no authorization, to install the Update on this system !

Consult your software supplioer ! Setup is terminated !"

The thing is, I can't find the bug

This is not my first time installing SD and it always worked like a charm. I used the jcrecordings tutorial to make sure I dodn't forget anything. I reinstalled WinXP 3 times already.. Always get the same message.

The partition names are correct, the drive names too. I am logged on as STAR and I have administrator rights. Still get the same result..

Did I forget anything?

PS: YES, I searched the forums but couldn't find a solution.. Anybody cares to help?

I am currently encountering the popular DAS multiplexer connection error. The actual fault code is:
Fault (1.2)-2.503 13003
Initialization of diagnosis multiplexer failed.
Possible causes:
The link between the diagnostic multiplexer and the diagnostic socket is interrupted.
The link between the diagnostic multiplexer and the diagnostic unit is interrupted.
The voltage supply at the diagnostic socket (circuit 30 and (or) circuit 31) is faulty.

I think I may have found the problem, although I'm not entirely sure if it actually is the problem or what I am to do about it if it is. The picture of the multiplexer in the bottom right corner of my diagnostic unit is not the same as the multiplexer I am currently using. My multiplexer will be the part D multiplexer, while the desk band icon of the multiplexer in the bottom right is the multiplexer with a screen on it. Would this be the reason why there is no communication between my multiplexer and diagnostic unit? Does this mean that I have the wrong version? Do I need to reinstall the entire system? Attached is a picture of what I am talking about. If someone could be kind enought to enlighten me on the situation, that would be much obliged. I will continue surfing around looking for some fixes. Thanks in advance for anyones' time.

I have a problem in my w208. It consumes too much power in idle status. It should consume about 30mA but i have measured something about 220mA.
My Star Diagnosis has detected only one fault in the EIS. Code was B1024 (Can-Low).

Could someone tell me, what i could do?
I have measured all the Can-Bus Cables ( i guess 8pcs) on the right site of the car and all have 2,5V when ignition was on, so i guess this is okay.
