hello again all,
i have a slight problem with autocom cdp+ interface....... i installed the 2011.3.5 with no problems....... i connected the interface and it detects the vci with no problems.
i then updated the firmware and message come up successful i tested the generic functionality and had no problems on a lexus is200.
i think tried to access individual function and it come up fatal internal error or something like that and no longer worked.
the software still detects the hardware and shows details etc of it and com port aswell but when trying to carry out a test it comes up no vci found.
ive tried it on 2012.2 and 2012.3.2 aswell and still the same.
does anyone have any idea what the problems could be and would installing delphi software and updating firmware again resolve this issue.
if so does anyone have a link for the delphi 2012.3 and patch.
regards
john

Dear forumfriends,
I am searching for hardware to read fault codes of cars... Of course, i do not want to buy something not worth it...
So maybe it's a fairly good question:
- what hardware to buy??
- does it have to be expensive? Can you find GOOD quality at a low price?
- and do you have to make a choise in hardware in function of what kind of brands you normally fix, or can you buy a kind of 'universal' one? or do you have to pay universal with quality?
- where to buy? ( the machine is the same, but the service or warranty can depend)...
These are a few, but important question for a person looking for a good piece of hardware, or a newer model. I hope many people can give their opinion so everybody can know easily what kind of brands are good, and wich not. I hope to be able to make a top 5 hardware here...
best regards,

The car is a 2002 SL500 230.475
Trying to read
"Active service system before last oil change"
in Control units -> information and communication -> ICM -> Actual values.
but I get Communication error 8.591.0
What is that ?
Do a R230 this old don't have a service memory ?
All other values I can read just fine..
Star is 05-2012 China C3 Mux
