Problem solved! Speedometer needle goes to max on car movement |

Hello,
I attempted to retrofit a COMAND into my E-class W211 2007 CDI, and after this attempt (which was not successful, and I am pretty sure I did not fool around with anything that was related to the speedometer, though it was mostly in German, so maybe I did without knowing it) the speedometer needle now races up to 260km/h (max position) even when I am only doing 1km/h (reverse as well).
The speedometer shows the correct speed when I am using the speed-limiter, but on manual, it stays at max position until the car comes to a full stop no matter how slowly or fast the car is going.
Has anyone had this problem happen to them, or know how to fix it? I've been mulling over the options in Xentry DAS but I can't seem to find anything that is even remotely related to this, or that could cause it.
If anyone knows how to reset it all back to factory settings that would be helpful too!
Thanks in advance,
PKSH
