I have installed and it appears to be working fine both Citroen Lexia 3 Vi4.1.1 and Peugeat Planet 2000 V 1.9.4.
I have successfully activated both. Question is i cannot connect to sedre in either application as it requires a user name and password. Please can anybody advise and help.

I have downloaded and installed vas-pc v19, I then reboot my pc and run the HotFix patch.
my problem is when I try to load vas-pc it tells me only one instance of the software is allowed at a time, is the HotFix patch being counted as another vas-pc on my computer?
I have spent 5 hours at this now with no joy, can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me what I'm doing wrong.
i have spare 38pin cable adapter from C3 mux and OBD2 female to open, so i got an idea, how to make 38pin adapter to obd2 female for my autocom "compatible" interface, as you can see in a picture i cut original round connector and soldered wires from 38pin to obd2, so far only + - and k-line for engine according to bosch scheme

my question is should i continue and connect all other wires used for various control modules (see pic) in 38pin adapter to obd2 F k-line (blue wire pin 7), will it cause any damage or it's OK like in for instance FES adapter for K-line where i connected all lines without any switches. If anybody has some experince please post it, anyhow i will try this in 2-3 days and post results.

The Vehicle Commnication Module (VCM) is a high performance, ruggedized, vehicle serial communications gateway. This device provides multiple vehicle serial communication interfaces to meet the requirements of all Ford Motor Company vehicles.
The VCM unit is housed in a magnesium enclosure with a tough, protective, plastic cover for the PCMCIA expansion slot which can, for example, be used for wireless LAN cards or memory expansion. The VCM device contains five LED status indicators to provide the user with a visual mode of internal VCM, vehicle, and host device (e.g. NGS Classic’s T-Handle, PC, Pocket PC/PDS, and Laptop/IDS) operation.
The VCM also has detachable cables for connection to industry standard high-speed host interfaces as well as to the vehicle under test. The VCM 2007.7 DVD includes both IDS (Integrated Diagnostic Software) and PDS (Portable Diagnostic Software) tools.

I have a genuine ross-tech cable that i get error on when i try it in different cars. I get the K1: Short to ground error, and i think the cable is broken. As its not working in none of the cars i try it in.
What can be the problem? - It has to be a cable problem.
Is there a resistor in those cables that snap , that can make this type of problem? How do i measure the resistors with a volt-meter to see if they work or not?
IF its a resistor, it is just to change it and it will work again? I have good soldering equipment so i can solder if needed.
Hope i get some good answer on this as i paid a good amount of money for this cable here in Norway.
