I'm making this thread because I noticed that there isn't a clear overview anywhere about the differences between the Audi TT 8S MK3 2015 and later models in regards to the technical facelift and other changes they've had.
What I know currently is limited to things I've found or experience but I hope we can expand upon this list.
Here are some of the changes that I've noticed from my model (2015) compared to later models
Phonebox:
While the 2015 model has a Phonebox option, the early models did not come with Wireless QI charging. The 2015 Phonebox just provides a signal boost. Currently unknown if it can be retrofitted. The signal wire is present but for the QI charger there will have to be looked for a power source.
If you want to attempt to retrofit this, you will need at least 8S0864981B and 81A035502. You also need to check if you have the right USB ports to fit in the shell.
DAB Radio:
Early models came without DAB radio enabled. From what I've found, some models have the right antenna already present, some do not. The same goes for the modules.
Retrofitting looks to be possible but might get expensive depending on what your car already has and what it still needs.
Reverse camera:
When installing a rear/reverse camera in the early model, it might give an unsolvable DTC. I'm currently looking into what could be causing the error together with the installers.
Carplay and Android Auto:
On early models it is not possible to just enable Carplay and Android Auto. While the components are capable, the software is not. The VC (virtual cockpit) and/or MIB need to be updated before it can be enabled. Updating these modules can take a while so make sure you car is connected to a power source.
If anyone happens to find more differences or has issues retrofitting things, feel free to post here or DM me and I'll update this post.
Hello everything is fine? Can anyone help me identify which model of this ECU? This writing that is licensed Bosch, but does not speak what is the model ... And what equipment does this ECU read?
Kia sorento 3.8 v6 2009
Can someone modify my file to rise up the idle RPM to 880?
I need to rise up the idle RPM when engine is cold and hot from original state (780-800 RPM) to 880 RPM because of flywheel problem.
The flywheel is shaking and an ugly noise is hearing at standard idle speed so I need to rise it up to 880RPM even if engine is cold or hot.
Some cars can be adjusted by VCDS but not this one. The only way as I read on the internet is by modify the ecu file via WinOls.
I have attached the .org file. Is a Skoda Octavia 1.6 Diesel. Engine code: CAYC Ecu type: Siemens.
Tried a few solutions on this one but cannit get rid of the dash countdown message.
No errors in DCU or ECU.
PP waiting for a working solution anyone please

I'm trying to fit an 2024 steering wheel to my 2017 Tiguan but the yellow plug between the airbag and the steering colum ring is slightly different, does any of you have the wiring diagrams, so I can make it work?
Don't forget in CONNECTIONS change CPN to Internet
And don't forget replace config.ini in C:\ProgramData\OS\configuration ( OS E and OS S )
Don't forget delete ALL antivirus programs and STOP secure windows
And I think , in 2025 , you can disable Secure Boot )) I think , this real good idea
If you You download this to "home edition" laptop - STOP download , and see "home video"
Just buy from eBay 1 used laptop for diag with 50$/€/£ , and all be fine 👍
