how can I identify car license paper or car plate locations to engine codes ?

for example :

ford connect BHPA is 75 hp
ford connect HCPA is 90 hp

but I dont find any info on the car LICENSE PAPER for about engine code (in engine number or vin number) ???

I hope someone can help me, I try to change the gearbox in ECU (W168) from manual to automatic transition after replacement of the ECU (from manual W168).
When I running the DAS in simulation it is NO problem at all (running in DAS and there is the option), but when I try to do in real life (connected MUX to car) then DAS open HHT where is NO option to change the gearbox at all.
My question is how I can force DAS to run in DAS and NOT to switch to HHT?
Why the DAS acting differently in SIM and connected to MUX?
Anyone have that sort of experience, please help.

There are some things i don`t understand about the Lexia Interface.
Some say there are older and newer ones.

My cable is from China.
Up to v5.28 of Lexia it worked fine - but not with my Citroen C2 CAN / CAN from 2008.

There was a thread with a guy from France who is able to upgrade the Firmware to the newer Versions of Diagbox/Lexia without "blacklisting"

Is there something i can do without send it to France?

What kind of ecu have the saab 9-5 2.0L Tid4 engine?

hello peeps!I have a fairly new snap-on scanner for heavy trucks...but we dont have any software for it so its a glorified fault reader and thats it!does any one know how to download updates or software like cummins or cat et for a snap-on reader?I believe its really a nexiq in disguise...HELP!!I could also really use a bendix abs program on it.I know it is capable because when i open it it tells me that bendix is expired.even know I never had it/.

I bought VAG COM 4.9 that died after 1 time VW Scan
I then bought 9.x VAG COM and with home made Cooler it's been working o.k. for past 3 years...
Then i bought BMW carsoft 6.5 it worked for about a year and burned during the scan......
Then i bought MB Multiplexor with carsoft and it's still works.....(after 3 year)
Then i bought INPA and it still works for past 3-4 years
Then I bought BMW Scanner 1.4/2.1...(3-in-one) it works for pass 2 years(i'm loving it)
Then i bought BMW ICOM and it still works for past year or so....


But now i would like to buy OBD2 scanner for General cars(Hyundai Honda FORD Chevy VW Etc......)
I was looking at a ACI Scanner and MULTI-DI@G (But your input is greatly appreciated)
Also my criteria is $100-320 that can and will do scan cars and not only OBD1/2 but goes to advance scanning and activation of components and no i'm not talking about ELM327 or such........

Anybody would like to to provide there input ?<<<-----(Good, Bad and Ugly)

Hi, does anybody have the Component protection manager software to remove protection on vag modules?

or can anyone help me remove protection or adapt to car via eeprom dumps from the module?

for example i have a repaired 2010 Audi A5 that has been converted to s-line body kit + interior and headlights too, so i need to use the central electronics and can gateway to code in the headlights etc

but can gateway is protected, and the climate control module is protected too. i think both have been installed from another car.

I believe VAS PC can do this or dealers only?

Does anyone have experiences how autocom works on trucks.
i am using cdp+ new design, and it works really good for cars, but it doesn't work for cars. On 2006 man, i was able to read only brake, instruments, but no engine... it didn't even conect with volvo, it works verry bad on other trucks to?

does cdp+ 3in1 old, or cdp pro works better for trucks?

whihc universal diagnostic tester would work for volvo?

I´ve bought from gocardiag.com and obd2motor.com the two interfaces and I can´t make them work on k-line. Maybe they work on CAN but not tryed yet.
Seller said that they were A products.

I need help , after remaps Volvo v50 2008 2,0tdi ecu ( siemens sid 803a )

Remap done with Kess k-tag .

After remap car is showing fault message red triangle and power system fault and red battery sign on dashboard

Tried scan with auto-com and there is 2 unknown fault on ECU ,I can reset faults but the are coming back .

And also ECU was after water damage ( when we opened ecu water marks was inside ) But can this cause this problem after remap ??

Any solution can some one help ?
