Hey guys i have got an w246 2017 car just clicks when crank and the boxes on P just lost after few seconds when diagnose the fault in vgs shows 056200 power supply 87 undervoltage and there is no voltage shows in actual value ,moreover i checked power at tcm connector there is 12v on pin 5 , pin 1-3 are can lines but there is no voltage on pin2 according to wis it comes from eis which is all time 30b live i dont understand when give direct 12v still there is no voltage shows on tcm in general values.
Hello, I would like to express a doubt that I have about the connection of instrument panels, in this case of the VAG group. You see, I have several test cables, outside the vehicle, with which I manage to turn on the instrument panels and even diagnose by OBD. I usually do it, to check the illumination of the panel, segment tests, lights, needles etc...
But I have a doubt. In the panels, when they are in the car, when I turn on the lights, the spheres light up, that is, where the numbers of the revolutions and speed go. Well, that "action", that is, turning on the lights, I cannot simulate it outside the car, my cables simulate the "contact" when turning the key.
My question is, how could I simulate that action to be able to see the complete illumination of the panels on my test bench at home? Thanks
I've fixed a wrecked car that was in rear collision according to vocal instructions from Volvo. Due to Finnish regulations I am unable to get the car through inspection without documents showing the instructions (print out from Vida or some other workshop manual) showing that a set of instructions are followed. Hi everyone, is it possible to repair bricked dash after mileage correction by bench. Customer bring me dash, center screen is not working , I try to read mileage by dp4 but it says unknown version probably flash is corrupted. Is it possible to repair it?
Anyone have or willing to even just show me the utility bin or ptp file for a VIN change on a T43 transmission ecu?
I have one that works on most modules with a bit of editing but with the T43 I always get a code back 7F 3B 31 with the 31 meaning out of range.
I know it can be done so I must be doing something wrong (obviously).
I am wondering if the vin needs to be sent in 3 parts like some older modules but I could also be overthinking it.
Any tips or help would be appreciuated.
I am trying to do RDC retrofit. I have placed the three antennas F/R R/R R/L and I can't find where to place the F/L.
Does anyone know where to find the front left RDC antenna on a 2001 E46 cabrio?

I read the map from the DCM6.2A controller, someone had already modified it in the SCR and NOX range. I was supposed to make modifications related to Start&Stop. I prepared the file. Unfortunately, when I tried to save the ECU, the programmer displays information that the checksum calculation failed. I tried to calculate it before saving, unfortunately I also received information about the error. Has anyone had a similar situation? Attached is the file read from the ECU and the prepared one. Hello, I have a 2016 W166 GLE350d with a ‘Trailer coupling, Check lock’ coming up on the dash and the constant red light flashing on the drivers door tow bar switch. I also have ‘U025287 Communication with trailer connection unit has a malfunction. The message is missing’ when in the Instrument cluster fault codes using Xentry.
A few months back the tow bar got stuck in the working position, I connected Star diagnostic and managed to go into actuations and get the bar to go in and out. But now if I try it says ‘Status of trailer hitch, not initialised’.
So I went into the adaptions and performed ‘initialisation’ which said successful but once it had done this the bong and dash warning immediately appeared.
The tow bar does work with both drivers door and tailgate buttons.
In actuations it says ‘Error details, conditions not correct’. ‘The control unit N28/1 (Trailer recognition control unit) is not receiving a speed signal. Check communication with control unit A1 ( Instrument cluster).
So far, I’ve removed the tow hitch, checked both limit micro switches and continuity to the tow bar module. I’ve checked voltage and earth to the module (all the back seat fuses as well) and measured 60 ohms across the can bus to the tow bar module. I have 2.7 volts and 2.3 volts for the CAN at the tow module.
The vehicle has not been tampered with since this fault appeared. It’s a factory fit electric tow bar.
I’m thinking the tow bar module? I can talk to it, no fault codes for it, only the instrument cluster. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I'm stuck with TecDoc Q42019, and no matter how many times I follow the instructions it fails again.
Let me explain...
Before installing it, I change the PC date to 01/10/2019, install it... run the "ActivateTecDoc" file and finally the "TecDoc2019" adding the information to the registry.
I open the program from the desktop shortcut and everything is OK. Wonderful program!!!
Problem:
When I put the current date back on the PC IT DOESN'T WORK, as it tells me that I must update to a newer version since the current one is old.
QUESTION:
What am I doing wrong?
Or is it that every time you want to use the program you have to put the old date?
