So yesterday the scanmatik team published on their site the release of a new scanmatik 3 (looks pretty much the same as scanmatik 2 pro), but main difference being the introduction of CANFD, DOIP, wifi instead of BlueTooth, faster USB data transfer speed (from 12 mbps to 480 mbps, they changed the usb chip/drivers it seems), and the auxiliary cable now comes with the basic package.
This is good news, however, what applications would this new tech support? From their site they wrote support for xentry DOiP, that's good, what about other applications like odis and so on ?
Or simply, which other applications support j2534 with CANFD/DOiP support ?
I'm a proud owner of original scanamtik 2 pro, if it is worth purchasing, reply to the thread as to why or why not, thanks

I have problem with VW Polo 1.2 2008 petrol, with ecu Simos 9.1 hw: h04 5414 5WP40806 04, ecu is burned, there is visible burned pcb inside, eprom and ecu maps cant be readed, boot mode doesnt work, eprom programmer read nothing from 93c86, how can i put new ecu without old backup? Can somebody give me advice? Can i read pin from tacho and pair with ecu from some other old car ? I have Odis and VCDS, FoxFlash and xc100 programmer tools. Thanks for help.
this is my first post after scouring this forum and the internet trying to find answers and help. I hope this problem is issue for one of you.
I'm trying to simply read a 2008 Mitsubishi Fuso with a ME427035 EPA07 4M508T(I believe is a EDC7C4) ECU to be able to dpf/egr off. I only have Kess v2 and I know it cant be used for this vehicle. I thought k-tag could but I cant find it in my protocols and I cant find a k-tag online with this protocol. I've been looking for other products that say they can do it and I've only found hardware that can do Fuso's with other ecu models.
The closest thing I have found is PCMflash with Module 64. I am not familiar with this and still how to extract the file from the ecu.
Could someone please guide/teach me the steps I need to take for this unit.

I have a A906 545 30 08 EIS.
Key turns ok, ESL also works fine. Dash light on when turning key, but no crank.
I tested EIS on bench with VVDI MB on "Test EIS status/workin key" function and i think EIS is not working OK.
On Mech.status, should chek also terminal 50, right? And what is the meaning H0 position? (post video link)
Also post here dump files (eep and flash). Could be a bad flash?

Hi, My friend readed with ktag (clone) ok. He uses patch function (enable serial programming mode, tprot remove).
Now even if wtrite original backup and read, is 1:1 ok, also can read DTC, diagnose power cycle ecu, is still ok, but when put ecu back in to car and start, eeprom corrups, every time and car not start. What could be issue?
Tested immo-off eeprom and flash, still not run, start, but shut down after couple of seconds.
It would be great if there is a how-to so I can figure it out myself, and future use. Meanwhile it seems people just post their problem and someone simply fixes it for them?

The factory always describes "00", but we know that this is a "mask" of this byte. I need the correct value for bit '18' - light configuration (for LED DRL to work correctly)

Hi, is anyone here good at EDC17C74? I would need advice on a good stage 1. I tried to change the torque limiters (450nM), pedal torque monitoring, gearbox torque limiters, dw, smoke maps (afr 17), lambda (afr 17), duration map not touched, but at WOT from 3000rpm the power starts to pulsate (in the log, pressure and fuel decrease and increase). EGT OK.
Ori file is good. Is it necessary to change the Desired Air Quantity map here?
Does anyone have an ori + mod file from some EDC17C74? Or i feel free to buy a good stage 1 file from someone here for this file to check it.
