If you noticed that your Petka updates have stopped downloading, especially if you are on version 8.3 or earlier, here is a solution.
1. Go to the link here and download the updates into your Update folder. The folder address in found in the Maintenance menu item for Petka, on the Home window when Petka first loads

I have a Passat 3BG 2.5TDI with engine code AKN. We assumed the fuel pump was defective, so we changed it with another used one with same part number. It did not solve the problem, motor still does not start. Also both pumps made noise when switching ignition on. This one does not need learning the pump with immo so this is should be no issue.
We assume there is some problem with ECU, so we did a ECU swap - used one also with same part number. (ECU device identification 3B1907401B 2.5l/4VTEDC - G000 - SG D01)
Now I try to learn immo. I have PIN from old ECU (0726) from ECU dump, also dash dump shows same PIN (0726). Also I read dump from the new ECU, it shows PIN 1274.
My plan is: - New ECU is connected to the car - VCDS -> ECU -> Login -> 01274 - Adaption -> Channel 50 -> Enter PIN 00726 -> Test -> Save
But ECU does NOT accept PIN 01274 on login. :-(
What am I doing wrong, what could be the issue? Please help. Any help is very much appreciated. Please also see attached dumps.
So I am trying to clone an MS45 (out of an E85), I have a KESS3 and Hexprog. The KESS3 says it can clone, but it fails when trying to write to the flash or MPC. Hexprog was able to clone the info over, but it ended up with a crank and no start issue and the DME cannot be connected through OBD. After re-writting the external flash I have CAN communication now.
The main issue I have is... the original ECU's EEPROM file is blank. it has nothing inside of it but the car is able to start anyways. The Donor (before cloning) had info inside of the EEPROM, and after cloning it is blank (as expected). So my question is, how does the car start when the ECU has no info in the EEPROM? And secondly does the Donor not having an EEPROM mean there will be issues? Most of my experience is with BOSCH ECUs, so any info/insight would be appreciated.
I am wondering if Foxflash conected with bench box and with OBD cable to the car will work to read/write ECU? Like on the picture.
I have to modify ten of MB V-class - adblue off and do not want to remove each time ECU from each car.
Hello, I have a 308 SW 2017 (engine model 2018), that has a NAC navigation unit. The car currently has active lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and can alert of vehicles in front via the camera on the mirror. What I'm missing is the active/adaptive cruise control.
I've managed to find some of the required parts (radar unit, cable, mount box, cruise control stalk with the GAP button), didn't order them though yet, since I am missing the complete picture and the schematics of what goes where for this to work (of course, telecoding with Diagbox will be required). Does anyone have experience with this or can help out with providing the required wiring diagrams and correct model-specific parts (the attached photo displays the 2015 version).
So i have an problem with an mercedes W117 gearbox in brief i will explain about this car
The car came from different workshop was too messed already the story was car gearbox cooler fails which mixed with oil and water thats what client told me and the guys tried to messed around with vgs which basiclly nothing has to do as gearbox was mixed oil and water it needs servcing they were not experienced and damaged tcm so when the car came to us first we checked gearbox and serviced properly and installed back in car but car wasnt started tcm was dead so there were no options for fbs4 to change without dealers and it was on back order so what we did we replaced ecu set ( ecu key ezs and tcm )exactly each and every part number is same but from w176 our car is W117 but we plugged in car starts fine but wasnt engaging in gears we found N80 was faulty replaced same issue check fault codes it keeps coming pressure regulating valve 2 and inner shaft malfunction we thought gearbox problem replaced gearbox same then still tried basic setting the problem is still same it fails at beginning we changed clutch might thought it would be water ingress still same we checked software according to vin and tried to flash W117 software which basicly fails to start car on w176 vgs software car starts now we dont have any clue spent lot money no idea how it can be solve need some expert advice if any experienced person can help will be appreaciated
Is there an existing solution for immo off?
I can see that carlabimmo does not provide a solution.
Yet some people claim that there is an emulator for this ecu. Can't find nothing.

I retrofit Tempomat and multifunction steering wheel on this W447 that has the Audio 15 system.
Changed the MRM to one that has +MS1+CL4 of course.
I can see the buttons working in the steering wheel module in Actual values but the radio does not detect the buttons.
I coded the Tempomat and it's working correctly.
I remember there was supposed to be a Multifunction Steering wheel option in EZS but can't find it?

AEMT MAXX is a software package that assists in making it possible to use second hand PCMs by either cloning or editing VIN and immobilizer data from one PCM to another. This tool will allow one to program Chrysler PCMs without the use and limitations of Witech software. A source like Tech Tools would be needed to obtain the required files in order to program. Used GPEC computers can be made to work by opening up and copying the original EEPROM and pasting to the donor. The correct file can then be programmed based on the vehicle VIN number.
