I would like to be able to do a stage 1+ or stage 2 to this car. Currently I have made some mechanical modifications to the car such as the turbo and several other things.

I made an unlocked ECU for a 1.5 BlueHDI. works good in manual car, but for automatic cars the gearbox has it's own immobiliser and won't unlock the gearbox, makes a nasty bang if you try to go in to gear.
Did anyone deal with this before? If I attach an emulator to the auto ECU will it be happy?
Does it make more sense to try to code the new ECU to the vehicle, then it will also be paired to the auto ECU?
