Hi, I have a Bosch ECU MED 9.1.2 that has the brake switch circuit malfunctioning. Which tool should I purchase to clone this ECU onto a good one or to backup the ECU in case a repair is failed. The ECU works just fine but the brake lights remain on due to the brake switch circuit malfunction. 

When I swap the slave and master ECU the brake switch error is gone however the car will turn over for a few seconds but not start due to Security Issue displayed on the Dash. Any way someone could help? Could I swap the master and slave ECU and reprogram the slave to the master and the master to slave?

I have a VAS 5054A OKI full chip clone. Would this work and what software should I install?

Hello all. Ok so Im stumped. I have a 2014 Jetta se that came with a simos 12.2 ecu from the factory. I also have simos18 ecus that I have immo patched that run in the same car. Ive run into a wall. I have a six speed manual swapped in place of the 09g and when I first installed it I was able to code the ecu with a security access code. Same with the 18. No problem. for some reason now the simos 12 will not let me edit the long coding. just keeps erroring when i try to change the bit from A1 to 19. Am i missing something? I have coded both ecus in the past. Any insight is welcome. Thanks!

Can anyone help with the following?
We have a Peugeot 5008 2019 which has had 2 brand new electric power steering racks fitted which were purchased from the Peugeot dealer, both with the same issue.


Using the latest Diagbox online (properly licensed & subscribed) we have carried out configuration successfully which allowed us to clear the configuration fault however we are left with P0602 - Downloading Fault stored and the steering malfunction light on the dash illuminated. The steering is not smooth, it does provide steering assistance however it judders as you move it.<br />
When selecting the downloading option in Diagbox the process completes successfully stating no download is required because the ECU is up to date.


Has anyone experienced this before or can anyone suggest how to resolve this?
Any guidance/advice would be much appreciated.

I did post this in another section however I feel it could be more appropriate in the PSA area!

Hey All. 

Would anyone be able to guide me though the Coding Procedure in BMW F11 With E-Sys?

Just retrofitted Comfort seats with massage, memory and Rear infotainment

Seats are in and working until Canbus kicks off. 

New door cards with memory buttons and massage buttons not Fitted yet 

Rear infotainment not Fitted and wont be. 

But I Need to get the seats coded for at start so the canbus hopefully wont turn the adjustment off. 

My car was originaly with basic Cloth seats.

Anyone able to help out?
Pretty New to Esys but a quick leaner.

anyone have it?

For all of you who have problems with DAS having hardware lock.

Just replace common.dll file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mercedes-Benz\DAS\bin\ folder with original one.

Edit: 2024-09-26
After restart common.dll file is replaced. Here is the solution.


1.) Replace C:\Windows\System32\dllhost.exe file that is checking the common.dll with patched file.
     You will need special permissions to overwrite it.

2.1.) Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\System\ado\starm.cmd and modify 3rd line so it looks like this:
