Garage local, fitted a supercharger kit with flash option supplied from the US with a Diablo i3.
They were guided by Diablo support, advising ECU very likely locked and the tool would indicate.
i3 proceeded to flash and hung at 86%, they ran the recovery a number of times and would reach 86% only. Diablo have advised sending ECU to them from UK to US for recovery and unlock or supply new ECU unlocked.
My Kess 3 slave would not ID, but would read the back up, Autotuner similar - would read.
I am trying to help, looking for an ORI to hopefully recover with my master. They did send an ORI file - but said could not be 100% exact ORI - which resulted in Kess then ID'ing ok and patching for unlock - but no comms in the car.
Hoping the attached label might help locating an ORI.
I have a checksum problem with an EDC15P+ file
Apparently it looks like a normal EDC15P+ file but I've seen a lot of people have checksum problems with this one and another TDI PD AXR ecus
It is a control unit from an Ford Galaxy PD130 ASZ and apparently it encodes the checksum in a different way.
I have modified it with vagsuite like most of these ecus but flashing it bricks the ecu.
If I flash the ORI again it works without problem, I have tried various tools to correct checksum without success.
Has this happened to someone and could correct the checksum of the . MOD?

Good day. When the engine is off, if you turn on the low beam (left and right xenon lamps), the light comes on, stays on for about 15 seconds and goes out. It doesn't light for 1 second and comes on again. This happens 4-5 times. The light goes out and can't be turned on again until you turn the ignition off/on. Errors about incorrect xenon function appear in the headlight control unit and front SAM. This happens faster with the engine running - when you first turn on the low beam, it lights for 5 seconds, then starts blinking and goes out. It doesn't turn on until you turn the ignition off/on. Errors about incorrect xenon function appear in the headlight control unit and front SAM. The headlight control unit and front SAM were opened and inspected - nothing criminal was found. In the front SAM, when the light is turned off, errors are recorded - B162A11 and B162E11 (low beam (left / right) has a functional failure. There is a short circuit to ground. In the Headlight control unit (N71 / 1), when the light is turned off, errors B283F87 and B283E87 are recorded (xenon lamp left / right has a functional failure. No message.). The lamps were changed. Instead of the headlight, a load of different power was connected - the result is the same - the power on the wires disappears.
I have 0 coding experience, I can work with Xentry but I have never gone any further than basic diagnosis.
I'm considering a crashed 2017 W213 with blown passenger/steering and knee airbags. Seatbelts are also locked.
1- Could you please confirm that the whole dashboard needs to be replaced for the passenger airbag?
2- Can this vehicle be fixed without any online coding?
3- Can this vehicle be fixed enough to drive without online coding?

What about PassThru, I assume MB allow you to use your own cable, can we somehow code the same hardware ID on multiple Tactrixs for example?

Hello everyone, once I came across an ad on eBay for the sale of a new unused apricon and without thinking soberly bought it with my head, the ad immediately indicated without return.
I downloaded the software that I found on the official website, but it's not all, the toolbox only works, and the device is visible, I wrote to support, but the bot replied that they would consider my application in two weeks.
Could someone share at least some software to make sure of its performance.

Requirements: it needs to just work. I might not use it for a few months so if an update is required, fine but I can't be tracking mhh for patches and work arounds. (If patches are absolutely necessary, I guess I'll have to get use to figuring it out)
I don't think I'll need to do any ECU or module coding.
I do want the ability to program keys. Not absolutely necessary but that functionality would be nice.
What do you suggest that works with old boot TD that previously worked on ProDiag?
I know this has been done a handful of times before but it seems to be the future swap for Audi S6/S7 owners that plan on going with single turbo setups and other high horsepower builds as the original DSG DL501 cannot hold all the power these cars can make.
I currently have someone that completed his swap and everything is done on the wiring and hardware end, the issue now is getting the car to move. He has a “ECM/TCM incompatible” fault code. My best guess is that the ecu either in the coding or firmware/software is expecting to see the DSG instead of the ZF8. Now the ZF8 was a factory option but for the RS7 which is generally the same engine with some slight differences but still a 4.0T and utilizes the same MED17.1.1 ecu.
If anyone have done this before the information would be great but if not, does anyone have any ideas on how this roadblock could be overcome? The customer thought to flash an RS7 .frf but I’m afraid this might brick the ecu.
Any help or insight is greatly appreciated and hope we can figure this out to help all the future swap 🙌
