Hi, I’m working on a unique project with Vediamo and haven’t found similar cases in forums, so I’m starting this thread for help. I’m stuck and need ideas for next steps.
I swapped transmissions between two CLKs and now need to code the ECUs. Details below:
would assume ME 2.0/2.1 but haven't found confirmation yet
Original Transmission: Automatic
Current Setup: Swapped to Manual (from Car 1).
Status: Won’t crank i think because missing gearselector gear information.
Goal: Code ECU to manual (and ignition switch to manual optional).
Device
Star C4 DoIP
Vediamo 04.02.02
(first tried with vediamo 5 wich made more problems).
Problem:
Cannot connect to either car’s ECU.
Most ME CBFs (e.g., ME2_H, ME20) show faded ECU icons.
Only ME 177, ME 277, ME 97 show bright ecu icon and no connection symbol which provide for trying to connect.
But if i try to connect with these three it says this error.
" Error unable to establish communication with ECU. Reason: CAESAR: ComCoordinator:01025DUAPI: 0x0101 PDU_ERR_EVT_TX_ERROR (CLL/CoP Error: Error enc

I assume that ME 177/277/97 CBFs are wrong so so why do they show ecu icons bright while others don’t?
Is this a Vediamo configuration issue, CBF problem, or hardware (Star C4) fault?
What are the correct CBFs for:
Car 1 ecu it is ME2.1 so i think it would be ME2_H?
Car 2 ecu i have no idea mayby ME20 or ME2_H?
Is this achievable with my setup?
what makes this problem with cbfs and vediamo and how i can try to fix it.
Or is there any other tool (as monaco example) to at least exchange ecu from car 2 to manual transmission easier? If so is it possile to find a download package for this sw somewhere.?
any other tips or help to this i am new with vediamo and i already have had lots of errors and problems wich i have managed to fix but now i need some help or tips to what to do next and i assume these may not be last problems but i am ready to try fight possible next problems too.

I know its a non turbo and the increase will be near pointless, but the teenanger is pleading for something. Please help if you can.
Hello mhhauto members, I am experiencing issues while trying to update my Xhorse Mini OBD Tool to the latest firmware version V2.0.3 using the Xhorse Upgrade Kit v1.8.5. The upgrade process fails, and I receive the following error code: (7:03:02:00:00). Here are the steps I followed:
Connected the device to my computer using a USB cable.
Ensured that the 3V battery inside the tool was charged to 3.17.
Checked the device connection status and driver version.
Changed the 3V battery with another one.
Started the upgrade process.
Despite following these steps, the upgrade fails at the final step. The device serial number is VD03670681, and the current firmware version is 1.4.8. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to successfully complete the firmware update? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Best regards

Does any of you have a solution to speed up engine warming up and slow down the coolant pump when stuck in trafic to not drop coolant temps, please? I have tried various things but non worked to the desired outcome. Help would be much appreciated. File attached.

I tried several solutions on this car, but I could not reach the result Davinci - Decoder - Volta - Swiftec solutions did not work.
When I combined Davinci and decoder solutions, there is no malfunction in the indicator, but I could not overcome the fan opening and smoke problem in the car.

The car is at the teach-in level and stay it, no manual control or presset is working on MMI.

Hello everyone. Problem with Ford s-max 2011. The problem is that the instrument cluster and the climate control and radio do not turn on, but the car starts without problems. Errors in the control unit bcm U0155 and U0164. Can anyone tell me where I can look?
I got a car in my shop with no working keyless access and start. No codes in 05, 09, 25. Verified key, coding, and parametrization - everything looks good. Added new proximity key - same thing only remote is working as it should but when I press the start button says key not detected. As soon as I touch steering column coil with car starts right up.
Kessy doesn't have any sights of water. All fuses are in place. Don't see any aftermarket bs too.
Hello all, I am trying to find the data matrix code for a 2020 Mercedes Benz 167.159 GLE 450. I am having issues getting the QR code data from the headlamp. The vehicle came in with a water damage module, I replace the module with a brand new genuine unit but its showing B223955 fault due to no coding present.
I am a new member in search of experienced advice. I have a 2005 w220 s65 AMG. Recently the car would not start. I diagnosed the issue to be the ESM on the shifter. I purchased a new shifter with same part number. The car now starts. I know this module needs to be coded to the car. However now I do not have communication to the module. Old module had communication. This installed used current shifter is sporadically actuating the Shift lock solenoid. This is possibly how the old shifter failed. The shit lock solenoid even actuates while driving sporadically. Has anyone encountered this issue. All wiring seems to be intact. Good voltages, can voltages good, ground good. Break switch is new, and through esp actuates as it should. What could be triggering the shift lock solenoid to actuate? Is it possible that the ETC is faulty?
Attempting to renew a W216 2009+ EIS. Calculated key password and erase password on both CGMB and VVMB. Both fail to erase. Previously both tools will often say that they failed when they actually succeeded but this is not the case in this instance. It is NOT a dealer EIS according to CGMB. Any ideas?
