I've just done my first ever read of my ecu on my 2009 E61 535d.I've had my ori file modified and got a 3 options to flash back on.
If you could review the tuned files that would be great, I'm not sure which one to use. I'm looking for stage 1 with DPF & EGR off. minimal smoke and being able to keep my dpf sensors plugged in.

There is a battery on the left front under the hood and one in the trunk on the left side if you are standing from the back?
Or is it only necessary to disconnect the front battery to do work on the car?
Hello! I want to get 250-260hp in my BMW 1 Series 120d. I have a reinforced clutch, K&N high-flow air filter, downpipe and ATC hybrid turbo that supports 2.4 bar sustained and peaks of up to 2.6 bar. I would like to have EGR and DPF OFF, Hardcut Popcorn at 4300 rpm and reduce the turbo response time.
Having a hybrid turbo takes longer to build pressure so it would be necessary to adjust the VNT map.

Hi everyone, I've just done my first ever read of my ecu using a CP2010 Kess via CAN on OBD. For some reason everyone recommends reading via Kline with 225 pullup. I couldn't communicate with the ECU via Kline, it just said
"protocol not correct. Use protocol 164" However using CAN it worked right away.
I purchased the car with apparently a stage 1 tune however I don't think its got one.
I have just removed the DPF so am looking for a Stage 1 tune and DPF Off. Happy to pay for a nice file without excessive smoke.
I have attached a Full & Partial read file as I'm not sure what's needed.
If anyone could look at the files and see if it does have a stage 1 tune. If not I'd love a Stage 1 with DPF Off. Ideally with DPF DTC's removed so I can leave everything plugged in so it looks factory correct with how MOT's are going.
