Hí all.
I have orig Odis passhtru and orig KTS 560. Installed Bosch passthru the computer see VCI but Odis can't connect to vci. Somebody usog this combo?
has someone come across an ditupa's software dump and would share it with me? I would prefer a sw from a single turbo n57, but don't really have a preferred sw version, its really more about the concept. I'm curious how they tune n57 engines, because of what I've heard is that their mapping is not only powerful, but also more responsive, torquier and smoother in mid range in comparison to stock, without blowing the engine to the moon.
I'm curious how they achieve it. Maybe they do it by raising rail pressures and maybe soi in midrange? I've also heard stock soi's are a bit retarded to lower emissions/Nox and can be advanced to make the engine more efficient and responsive.
I don't want to copy or sell anything, but I want to learn and try it on my own car. Maybe I'm lucky and someone has something he can share it with me
hello, im trying to use my autel vci200 dongle with techstream v18. but i cant seem to get it to work. i have the autel maxi pc suite installed, and the vci200 is updated to the latest firmware. when selecting v200 in techstream i get a pop up window that says to select j2534 0500 pass through. i can click on v200 as an option but it will not let me click ok to proceed. and it does dont work if i try to connect to vehicle.
Long time lurker, first time poster here. There doesn't seem to be be a lot of information on ME-SFI 1.0 variant codings out there so I wanted to see if there's any wisdom to be gained from here
I have a model year 97 US spec SL600 (R129). When I bought it years ago, the secondary air pump was squealing and I promptly decided to just bypass the thing as it's not very useful, and not something that can fail inspection where I live. It does cause a fault to be stored in the ECU, but it doesn't really make a difference because here cars this old aren't subject to code reading in yearly inspections. It would light up the CEL too, but I've swapped the instrument cluster to an EU one which doesn't have a CEL. But it still bugs me.
I've been curious to find out if the ECU could be programmed to ignore the air pump. There's no such option in HHT (HHTWIN), but maybe there's a way to do it by ECU variant coding? I just haven't found any documentation on the topic. The EPC lists a number of possible codes for different market areas, model years and SA codes, but it's hard to make sense of what exactly is contained by each one. There are differences in market areas (e.g. exhaust temperature monitoring in Japan, CEL in US), cat vs no cat, different versions of the DAS immobilizer system (MY96, 97 and 98+ are different) and so on.
I went through EPC and compiled a list of possible variant coding values with model years and other notes that I could find, attaching it here as a screenshot as I can't seem to find a nice way to build tables on this forum. These pertain to 129.076 (M120 engine), some are also valid for the M119 apparently.
My question pretty much is, does anyone have detailed descriptions on what each of those codes entails? Another thing I was wondering, are the variant codes just given numbers or are they actually bit strings that make it possible to change the state of the features they control? For example, I have no idea if there ever was an SL600 delivered with catalytic converters but without the smog pump, but if it were possible to control these features separately, it would be great.
Hi, my old dashboard stopped working and i bought new one, this is the dump from it, i need to set to kilometers to 194 600km. Can anyone help? Thanks!
Can someone check the checksum? I think my tool writes wrong cs because i have issues with 29EE0 internal fault after writing...
Ltool says is fine but i think not...
Was not a cs issue.
Hello,
Can anybody help me out with the following ECU Ori file:
EDC17CP46
ECU Nr.: CR60-642LS-9EL1-Ch4_Q2-204WA-EU5OP_4x2_3S-ME02
Software: 512494
I need the file to compare it with a tuned file.
Thanks in advance!
Hi guys i would need iveco daily ori file,i post eeprom too as i do not know if it is corrupted or not.Car often do not starts ,so i do not know what was done before me.Regards
after some advice - vehicle came in not starting engine ecu not talking - customer supplied an ecu
with replacement ecu in -we now have coms with engine ecu and codes of P250F Engine Oil Level Too Low and P250C Engine Oil Level Sensor Circuit Low
no other faults in vehicle - abs/srs/bcm/eps/immand transmitter code saving all have NO FAULTS
when i look at the ecu status it says it is locked -key status not checked - 2 keys learned and smartra3 statues not checked
does the engine ecu need to be unlock ? what about the key and smartra3 statues ?
thanks
