hello every body i have R8 2013 the problem as a points : 1- the car some time starte and some time not. 2- scanner some time detecte ECU1 and ECU2, some time not. 3- most of the time the car detect just ECU2. 4- if i swap the ECUs right to lift or lift to right still see ECU2. 5- gateway is ok . wiring is ok . 6- iam think maybe the ECU1 has softwear issue . 7- i clone ECU2 to ECU1, but still same problem
Hello how are u? Please someone here has already had problem of key not detected on seat 1.4 petrol turbo 150 Hp year 2017? The 2 keys gives the same message on dashboard.
Impossible to start the car...I have already replaced battery inside keys...Perhaps bad battery? So i have some questions:
1. Is there another way to start the car urgently by bypassing this message?
2. Must i do reprogramming keys again?
3. If yes which tool to do it? VCDS bu using pin code is sufficient? If yes how do in order to recover this pin code?
4. Energizer or varta battery in 3V is ok for keys?
5. If i have replaced battery, is there a special procedure to reset starting?
6. I have read that antenna must be checked...How do ? Antenna is inside key?

Btw: Problem solved !!!! It was the battery (a good brand of battery and all is become perfect).
I want to share an update I emailed thinkcar About the missing features after the update today and they asked for my serial numbers and they said they will enter features back in. I also asked about immo key programming And they told me it is under a new category named “antitheft software” what really bothers me is I didn’t have a choice to update or not it just updated automatically once it connected to WiFi.
I currently have thinkeasy 2 battery clips and TPMS G2. I also mentioned that I am also looking at buying the Oscilloscope.
any one know where the plugs are for this vehicle to use the sgw cable? i have located the gateway wich is under gearbox but there isnt anything located there. any help would be appriciated.
I have everything installed, but the gauges don't read correctly and the track app features are there but don't work. Says i need to program the PCM IPC and ABS with a 2013-2014 premium asbuilt data, which i have but not sure where the 9 lines of code goes in the PCM asbuilt section, as there is like 40 lines all together, and if you try to load asbuilt data file it says that it doesnt have info in the file, any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

Suspect intermittent faulty EIS. Original has MCU R1&R2 1L02M - donor EIS has different numbers on MCU. Same part number on EIS.
Can I read MCU from R1 and R2 and write to different processors? I think donor EIS MCUs were 4J74Y

I have Rover 75 with NNN000500 ECU (CAN version with EWS) I've read 93C66 but I'm not sure if there is any option to remove IMMO from this ecu ?
Someone already tried and failed and customer has no idea if EEPROM is original or somehow modified. If it's modified than it will be impossible to recover original dump, but if immo off is possible, than maybe someone can help with that ?

i will upload the PCM as-build file on this ecu (take it with forscan) , maybe somebody with the knowledge can edit , and make it compatible to this module (the data of this donor pcm is a 2.5 automatic mazda 3)

I also have a problem and if you could help me with an advice, I was recently contacted by a friend who makes software etc. he reads the map and collaborates with someone and he had a jaguar x type 2004 2.0 tdi FMBA (MPC555 ecu) he tried to read through obd and it didn't work and he brought me the ecu to do it with k-tag to read it in the conditions in which the car didn't know if it starts or not it starts, I received the ecu, I put it on the bdm, I used the respective adapter that was asked of me in the k-tag program, I connected all the voltage, it was always 13.5v-13, it was never below 12v, and I received this error Communication error with the ecu. and I couldn't give a backup to give a read, I didn't even try to write again, I gave it back to the respective ecu and I received a message that the car no longer starts, spins but does not start and he told me that I damaged the computer and I bricked in the conditions in which I didn't even have any communication with him.
