I have a problem. It concerns a Volvo S80 model year 2001, B5244T3 engine with Automatic transmission. The problem is that the car stops communicating over CAN-bus and VAN.
The engine runs poorly, does not respond to the gaspedal, Driver information module ”DIM” goes out and gear indicator by the gear lever goes out.
No scan tool can communicate with any control module in the car when the problem occurs. A fault code appears sporadically in the Central Electronics Module "CEM": CEM-1D07 Control module, Internal fault. The fault code is not registered every time the error occurs and it can be deleted.
The error is remedied by disconnect the battery and everything starts working. The error returns sporadically from 5 - 60 minutes (usually approx. 10 minutes).
The Central Electronics Module has been suspected from the beginning and has been cloned and replaced with a used one. This has been done twice but with the same negative results. Therefore, I suspect that the software that is read from the original CEM is corrupt and therefore the problem is not fixed with the new used CEM´S.
Many hours are spent on troubleshooting and excluding other factors/modules.
Oscilloscope measurements show something interesting on the "driveline CAN-bus" when the error occurs. The square shapes become deformed with a tip/slope!!??
I wonder if it´s possible to make a virgin and then leave the car to a Volvo dealer to load new software there.
Buying a new CEM from a Volvo dealer is NOT an option.
Thoughts:
Making a virgin unit, is it enough to fill the EEPROM and Flash with: FFFFFFFF
Or does a new CEM from a Volvo dealer contain any base data?

I've already looked through a lot of posts, but I couldn't find an answer. In the left lamp, I replaced the 8V0907399B module. ODIS displays me error C119F00 unbelievable version of the lamp.
I bought a used module and I don't have daylights. I also have an old module on which the lamp works. However, it was flooded and made a short circuit. Can I transfer the data from the old module to the new (used) one.
I have ODIS E and VCDS. In Odis, I can enter module 29 and 4B, but not in VCDS.

I think I have burned the ECU of a scenic, it does not communicate with the scanner and it does not communicate via bdm either. If I unsoldered the eepron to read and write it in a scrap one, would it be enough?

Hello, I recently purchased a carprog clone 13.77 from Ali express. The software cd that came with it didn’t work so I used Fantomel 13.77 version to test it. I have not done the rework yet. I tried opening the Honda mileage correction screen for Honda Civic and it opens fine with carprog connected to usb port. When I try Acura though, a screen opens for half a millisecond and closes. It does the same with a couple other car makes as well. I’m just wondering if anyone knows if this is a software issue or hardware issue. Would a a hardware rework fix this ? I have attached some images of my carprog unit as well. Any help is appreciated.
