I attempted to write a new EIS (old stock spare part) using VVDI MB tool. I have since found my infrared adaptor has been faulty. The EIS did not write properly. I have directly extracted the eeprom dump from the microprocessor using multiprog.
The key hashes are okay. The SSID is okay. Password did not write correctly. I put as all 1,s. 1111 1111.
All keys show as disabled on the VVDI MB tool. And EIS is shown as not personalised and not activated.
EIS part number is 215 545 0708
Could someone fix this EIS via eeprom? Would be much appreciated.

Read with AT over OBD done egr off and wrote tune on ecu. Car doesnt start anymore and i cant flash ori or back to stock.

I'm in a bit of a mess.
My A6 is due for a technical service, which involves updating the ECU. I wanted to reset the flash counter beforehand. I used a Kess v2 clone for this. Everything worked when reading, but after I entered 0 twice and the ECU was to be written to, the process was cancelled.
All kinds of warning messages appeared and the fans turned on.
Afterwards I realised that the read file has a very strange size of 1280kb.
Of course I don't have a Full BDM read and am now trying to restore the ECU somehow. Can anyone help me further?

I have a problem with CGDI BMW, I have to remove usb cable and plug it in 7-8 times until it’s detected by computer. When it’s not detected I have the red and green led it’s lighting. When it’s detected only the green led it’s lightning . I’ve also tried with the charger plugged in but same problem. USB cable is good quality and I’ve tried a few cables…

I'm having problems with this VW CC. At first, the ignition would intermittently not go on, diagnostics pointed to the ELV. ELV was reworked and switches replaced, after doing it, car ignition won't go on anymore. None of the windows work, horn do not work, no steering wheel commands. The cluster doesn't even show wrong key or something.
I found out the immobilizer module (the one in the passenger dash) is showing 0 keys programmed, and the VIN is reading as XXXXXX, I tried to remove the EEPROM and read with IM608, and it showed 2 keys programmed and the correct VIN.
When we insert the key, the car beeps, but the cluster does not light up at all.
Unsure what route to follow, when applying 12v to fuse 10, the whole dash lights up and car communicates. The immobilizer module also communicates, but has codes for implausible key signal (this was already there before), and live data shows no authorization as well as no keys programmed.
Edit: other codes say there is no communication with steering angle sensor, that was the only code popping up other than the key implausible one

I understand that you need to use SPS Online, but today I only spent money on the Acdelco site and was unable to do so.
It didn't support my car model.
Did I have the wrong program?
Did I go to the wrong site?

Has anyone reset a bmw lithium battery....I have reset many...but i have one today that dosnt reset after a full charge....opened the bms and found a 25c02 eep in it....I will post more details and pics soon...but im looking for someone that can reset the eep for me plz.

Just want to share my shit experience with the user Aleksey-MS from this forum. I contact this guy at the end of year 2024 to install BMW diagnostic software on a laptop to work with my ICOM. I have been using for 2 year an old version of ISTA (D and P) and also Standard Tools.
The guy was pretty fast, in 20 minutes have answer me with his Skype and I add him and have ask for all the details and programs that will be installed. Maybe I could be a little paranoid but I have asked for 3 or 4 times the same things...to be sure! And that was my problem...
After received the money (216€ on PayPal) this guy is not the same as before. He connects to my laptop, put all the things doing the download and after finish send me a message saying that is all done and ready to use. I arrived home, check the laptop and I have installed a cracked version of ISTA D and P and nothing more.
His message was:
“Within 30 calendar days after installation of the program we will restore its work free, except for the following cases:
- you uninstalled the program from your PC
- your PC or Windows crashed
- program/Windows files have been damaged by a virus/antivirus.
Reasons when the activation of the program, which is activated by hwid, is lost:
- updated Windows/BIOS
- removed/inserted the hard disk where the program is installed
- connected/disconnected an external network card
- changed the name of the PC/hard disk partition
- changed PC configuration”
I ask him for the BMW Standard Tools and he told me “I thought u want to do them little later, I'm sorry, I understood u incorrectly”.
So, at the same day I've got a call from a client to check a BMW X1 to reset an engine fault and I thought: “this is the perfect time to test the software and see if it’s all ok”. So arrived to the car, connect everything and launch the software and not work. I sent him photos of the faults, call him, send him messages and nothing. “Sorry, lot of work.” - 9th of January.
I send him a few messages asking for the BMW Standard Tools installation and, the second problem have arrived: “to be honest buddy I honestly don't remember when we talked about this progs BMW INPA, NCS Expert, WinKFP, SP-Daten". After some screenshots about the conversation we had before, he told me “ohh my god.... look dear I'm sorry, when u can send me access?”.
At the next morning i send him a message that I had the laptop ready to connect to check the ISTA D/P fault and install the rest of the software and the answer was: “You're all set...What are you waiting for, you seem to have everything set up...”. I was starting to be a little tired of this conversation and had to be a little more aggressive with him, because I pay him to install something on my laptop and I don't have nothing working. “I'm sorry, bro, I'll fix it. Agreed" was her final message that day. At the next day, the same history, a few more messages, the programs have not been installed and after some more excuses and connections to my laptop the answer was “friend, I can hack ista-d to install this program, please give me access to another laptop...”.
I'm tired of this guy, he is not an honest person, I send him money to pay a job that we agree before and I have nothing. I have installed a ISTA D and P version that don't work and nothing more.
