Which software is best for the tuning, I have read WinOLS is pretty good but I'm not too sure.
What software and hardware are you guys using to pull the files, and do they differ between make/model?

I have Volvo XC60 with P31658440 / BOSCH 0285013939 that need crash data reset
On ori EEPROM, I have just crash and passenger seat belt errors. I read it with SMOK, made crash reset but it did not work. Tried to reset with OBDSTAR, still have crash faults, so I decided to get file from carprogonline, but after writing it I got all possible fault codes that I can't erase. Still has crash data, but after carprog faile I also have U3000- Internal module error.
Can anyone help with crash reset in that unit ?

Seeing if anyone knows what software would be capable of reading bcm eeprom in late model super dutys 2020+. with all the issues trying to use pats on fdrs lately its made the pcm pats module initializations difficult. Ive noticed avtokomander can do it. But you separately read ecm eeprom, then read bcm eeprom data thru obd, then it makes the changes. I can see what its doing. My question is what other tools are capable of r/w bcm eeprom?

Also wondering if this same concept would work on 19+ rams with cummins. to get the immo minicrypt keys from the bcm if someone has already lost them in the ecm. Ive had a ton of calls lately to help recover 2020+ trucks that got shit tuning and left immo keys wiped in ecm. The only software im aware of is Witech. And its such a headache. The PIN code from dealer, you have to get that, then it rolls every 12hrs, and that code only works for witech with the micropod, j2534 witech has to get the code thru the moparkeycode website. Ive been looking into just following thru with the NASTF cert. But i dont think this would be too difficult to do as long as you had the software to read it. once its wiped out of the ecm, those key codes still have to be in the bcm. I already know exactly where theyre located in the ecm, would just like to find the same info in the bcm.
Ive looked and it seems that Arbrites software or whatever has a Ford PATS setup. Seemed a bit more limited on the chrysler side. Has anyone used this?
I wanted for long to get tool which i can use for diagnostics xentry and inpa/ista at least and for programming vediamo, monaco and ncsexpert . I have found vxdiag tool which costs almost the same as scanmatik 3. But as i know scanmatik is used for reading and writing ecus aswell. On ali sm2pro costs like 50$ and sm3 450$. I would like to know if anyone used any of this tools and are they good or not. I plan on working more with cars from 2011 - 2020. I would prefer to get cheap sm2pro for starting . Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone have problem with sm3? i tried to flash med9 via pcmflash and i can't even connect via K-Line. EDC16 in VAG also can't connect via K-line, same car but CAN no problem. I read some forums people say there's a problem with k-line on sm3 but can be easily fixed. Do you know this thread? Thanks for respond

I have this cloned Valeo V42 ECM with DTC 031509 active.
I dit the learning procedure for flywheel sensor ,than i can delete the error and the obd light stays off as long as I don't run the car over 3000rpm .I can rev up many times beyond 3000rpm as long as I wish without error but as soos as i take it on the road and let the car on engine brake the error comes back.
Apparently there is a patch thant solve this problem.
The engine runs perfect,no power reduction or start problem even with the obd light on.
I would like to have a little help with it if you know this problem and have the solution.Thank you in advance.
Please I need help with the vediamo coding data for the SAMF_172, CGW_212, MPC_212 ALWRR/ALWRL_218 for a w218 CLS 63 AMG with options 608 and 615. My auto high beams aren't working. The symbol displays but it stays on low beam. High beam works only manually, need help. I know my way around Vediamo but don't have coding data to compare with mine. Thank you.

We have a problem that the car thinks the sliding door is open and wont lock the locks on the car. We have checked the visible wires and replace the lock in the sliding door and still same problem.
We will need a wiring diagram to find the problem.
Good morning and all the best for the new year. i need to read immo data from a porsche macan bcm. mcu has 1M12S mask. is it safe to read with vvdi? tried hexprog but its not listed under porsche bcm and support said they do not cover that mcu. any help would be appreciated. thanks.
