any effort to help me with a virgin file will be appreciated
thanks in advance
Hi, I got DPF/EGR deleted on this ECM, but still have code 185800 (The exhaust gas aftertreatment system has a malfunction). Not sure what to do at this point, if someone have a solution, please let me know price.
I have attached both the original file and the deleted file.
Hello i have problem Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid
VacuumPump new sensor new vacuum hose new but always P0556 dtc when i delete check engine Hybrid works but after few minutes come back and hybrid no work
I’m still struggling with my ECU modification DPF off.. I am already tried with EGR nox and dpf off file . The turbo is not loading . But the pressure is up to 2 bar …
I want to try now only dpf off in the ecu because I did empty it and with original config it show up imminently in the ecu memory .
Glad to be there. Hope someone can help me, or nudge me into the right direction.
I have a 2009 Fiat Grande Punto, 75 HP, 1.3 Multijet diesel with DPF (Austrian import, I live in Serbia). I got it in 2023, with around 250k kilometers. It's not a valuable car, but it's the only one I have. Everything was fine with it before, mostly, the only issue it had is that the car ran DPF regeneration quite often (150-200 km). It completed every time without an issue, but it was annoying.
A mechanic told me that the easiest fix is to remove the DPF system along with disabling the EGR. We did this. EGR was not removed, but disconnected, so the motor was in a fixed close position. They disconnected the exhaust temp and pressure sensors too. I did not ask for that, but the they drilled through catalytic converter. The software was modified by another guy so it car won't pop up the check engine light.
The car seemed alright at first, but after driving for some time it lost its power. No error codes, no check engine light, there was no hard limit on the engine RPM, but below 2k RPM the acceleration almost stopped. Turning the engine off, and on again solved the issue for a while, but eventually if I drove it long enough, like 40+ km it happened again.
I took back to the guy who did the software. He told me that the software is fine, there might be some mechanical issue with the engine. Just to be sure, a friend of him re-did the DPF and EGR off procedure. This time the car was stuck in this "limp" mode. Again, no RPM limit, but it was accelerating really slowly especially below 2k RPM.
I have an ELM interface, connected it to my computer, and took a look at some values in the ECU with Multiecuscan. Requested rail pressure and actual rail pressure is okay, they are the same, however they did not go over 1100 bars! This car should be producing around 1300 bars max, if my informations are correct. Apart from that. the car constantly overboosts. In idle 80-100 mbars, but in full load it overboosts even with 500+ mbars! The wastage on this turbo is controlled by a solenoid. I took this car to a different mechanic, told him everything. He changed the solenoid. It did not solve the issue.
I got annoyed, and went back to the software guy, asked him to revert back to the factory software. He made a backup fortunately. After restoring the software, the ECU threw in some errors related to not finding the differential pressure sensor, the temperature sensor, and the EGR motor being disonnected. It's fine, since they were disconnected indeed. In fact, the first mechanic changed out my exhaust system, so the exhaust pipe no longer had the appropriate holes for these sensors. In this process they discarded the temperature sensor, which made me quite mad, since it's not cheap. Bunch of donkeys.
The new mechanic suggested to me that we should put activate the EGR again, put new cat on the car, and also send a turbo for a renovation. I got a new cat, EGR got plugged back in, exhaust differential sensor got plugged in but is not physically connected to the exhaust, since there's no hole for it anymore, the turbo got renovated, since it was the original that ran 250+ kms, and had some issues, but now it's definitely good. This new mechanic told me that the car will stay sluggish until I go and to the DPF OFF procedure. I'm not sure about that. It's yet to be done, but I became sceptic about this whole procedure.
What should I do next? Do a DPF OFF again (no EGR off), and hope for the best, or should I just find a new DPF, revert everything to factory state?
What could be the root of this turbo overboost? In low RPM range it's not crazy, but in higher RPM's the requested and actual values are really not following each other. Could the root of this problem be the removed DPF? Like the turbo was expecting some back pressure from the DPF and since it's not getting it, everything falls apart? Differential pressure sensor is 0 bars constantly since it's not connected to the exhaust system.
I hope someone can help me. These pointless repairs were already expensive, I don't think the car worth that much. I f*cked around with the DPF and I found out It was a bad decision...
Is there a way in the variant coding to make it stay in sport+ or racemode when you start the car? As you are all aware, when you turn the key off and on it goes back to comfort.
I change fixed mileage on Dash and CEM in Volvo V70 2.4d 2009y
But when i put it into car it jumps back wrong mileage. I have disconnected door modules so they do not mess up.
Can someone block sync between Dash and CEM?
hi to all!! anyone can help me with this car to do dpf off? i know there s a switch to deactivate dpf i try with davinci but it doesen t work...thanks!!
Hi ,
Could anybody help me please removed cluster on a8 d3 to change leveling module now cluster all works except speed .. I can see the mileage rise but no speed
Its a8 d3 3.0tdi no faults in cluster or engine ☹️ could be bad just the speedo motor in cluster ?
Thanks
May someone help me with wiring diagram to check if there is any problem
