Hello friends, i had a customer who visited a workshop to put back his car ecm file as stock, the car is w204 2009 c63 Amg
The car was running fine. After finishing flashing as he said the car is no more accelerating ( he did that through obd)
He sent me the ecm i checked all the ic legs for loose connection in case but all ok, i wrote new original file through Bdm in the external flash ( the file is according to vehicle engine and ecm part number and bosch number all identical) the car still the same, my question is :as this ecm have 3 memories ( micro eeprom and ext flash) could the obd flashing gone wrong and affected micro or eeprom memories?As i dnt have files for these and immo data is another issue, thank you and sorry for making it long

Does anyone have experience with reducing the AdBlue consumption on an EDC17C66 for a Mercedes Vito?
All emissions systems need to stay ON (DPF, EGR) but only the AdBlue consumption needs to be reduced. The AdBlue needs to stay active, with only the consumption reduced.

I have the following problem: I cannot refuel my 2020 Mercedes W222 S350. Every time I try, the pump shuts off immediately. This issue started two full tanks ago. The fuel began to flow slowly, and the attendant at the gas station mentioned that there might be a problem, as the fuel was only going in at a slow speed.
Last time, the attendant only managed to fill up half of the tank because he wasn't aware of the issue, and the pump shut off at approximately half a tank. Today, I'm trying to fill up the tank again, but with no luck. After putting in about 3-4 liters, the pump shuts off. If I try to fill up slowly, I can manage about 1.5 liters per minute with much effort. If I hold the nozzle of the pump, fuel spills out from the tank and onto the ground.
I've never encountered this kind of problem before. I searched the internet but couldn't find any information regarding this issue with a diesel tank. My understanding is that gasoline tanks have some issues like this, but not diesel ones.
Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Hello guys, I activated CarPlay on a LR Evoque II from 2019. It had the UIP LOW LINE ICM and I changed it to the MID one as advised in multiple threads.
Then I activated CarPlay using SXTool with the enet cable. Probably not the best choice, because now a DTC appeared. I have the U2300-62 code (Central Configuration - Signal compare failure).
The below is what is advised in the technical documentation:

To validate the repair run the engine for 120 seconds, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check this DTC is no longer logged within the body control module.
• Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check and update the car configuration file to the gateway module and body control module as necessary. Clear the DTCs and retest

I do not have JLR Pathfinder, neither the Hardware interface for TOPix or Pathfinder and I don't know what should be eventually done with it. Is it possible to fix it with SXtool?
Or better to go with Pathfinder or TOPix? And if there is any possibility to use a cable instead of the DOIP hardware interface which is too much expensive and I will probably not need to use it often.
If you have any insight to help on this, would be much appreciated. Thanks guys.

I upgraded from halogen to xenon ILS on my W166. I didn't redo the wiring but used a conversion kit, so everything fits.
So far, everything works: dipped beam, high beam, LED trips, turn signals, corner lighting, high beam, and ILS on the right headlight. However, the left headlight doesn't work for high beam and ILS.
I noticed that the xenon modules are not original but from a third-party manufacturer, so I’ve ordered two used original modules and am waiting for them to arrive.
Here are the errors I’ve encountered in Xentry:
B283f87: The right xenon bulb has a malfunction. The message is missing.
B283e87: The left xenon bulb has a malfunction. The message is missing.
U100895: LIN bus 1 has a malfunction. The mechanical setup is not OK.
The xenons themselves are working fine, but I can’t read the actual values in Xentry.
I tried encoding the PILS_AlaLiAdresse for the left headlight in HLC166 to match the right, and the left headlight started to move left and right, oscillating at the edges. This made the LIN error disappear, but these new errors appeared:
B283f87: The right xenon bulb has a malfunction. The message is missing.
B283e87: The left xenon bulb has a malfunction. The message is missing.
B284071: The actuator motor for left curve illumination has a malfunction. The actuator is blocked.
I reverted the settings to their previous state, and the motor block error went away, but the LIN error returned.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue, and how was it fixed? After performing the encoding in HLC166, I suspect the issue might be related to coding since the LIN error disappeared. The system is currently coded for CBC, EIS166, and IC172, and I haven’t coded for adaptive high beam assist yet, as I want to address the current issue first.
I would appreciate any suggestions you might have.
Hey guys I'm working on a set of modules for a customer for a 2022 dodge charger , using used modules they require a vin change , what programs are you guys using to do the checksum correction on the rf hub and bcms after a vin change?
Im pretty fluent in hex coding , I can read the flashes no problem , write the vins also no issue but I'm having a hard time finding a program that will do the checksum correction mainly because I don't know what CS they both use or how to find out .I don't want to send files out since I do these often and need to be able to do it myself ,I will pay for info ,you can also pm me if you don't wanna share info pubilcly.
Just got a 270cdi turbo mounted today, and it makes the same sound as the original. So i guess its maby not the turbo, it sound like boost leak real fast on and of "tsjutsjutsju" sound. Drives great otherwhise, no codes. Its straight piped and open filter with tune.
Does anyone know the common IDs for EDC17 Idle Turbo Vane Position Curves? I know there are some single byte values but what about TrbCh_rDesLimMax, TrbCh_rDesLimMin, or TrbCh_rDesTrans? Thanks for the help!
Anybody ever had a hybrid optima with a P1B70 code that wont go away for shit? Had 3 swollen batteries that were replaced, all cells were fully charged and balanced. HCU updated to the latest version, so it has nothing to do with the TSB.
Already replaced the HCU module and rebuilt the pack over and over again.
When monitoring the cells with live data, cell 40 will ocasionally go to zero, however I already replaced the module that has cell 40 and same thing.
hello i was trying to update all modules on E70 with ICOM when updating CAS module i was not aware that the key should be off and on 50% update somehow made wrong.. Now the whole car is in some strange set that my 2 keys are not able to plug and i somehow lost comunication with ignition. Only my Cluster lights on when i plug lishts on. I discovered that when i start ISTA-p again it works but only that . And 2 of my modules are strange status. CCC userinterface(BO) is in programming status 7. and my CAS module is in status 12. what what mean? Also most of the time when i start ista-p i am having problem messages that my VO is not same and wants me to add it. I fould i way througt ista launcher v6.6 and ista-p v3.66.0 to skip this VO message and run the program normal but i still cant fix the modules? Should i keep thying with one of my keys in holder or without? Any help or info will be gladly appreciated friends.
can someone check if the solutions are so wrong the car has a brand new turbo that works and a brand new H75 valve that vibrates a lot when the car is started turbo pressure is 0.2 maximum ... vacum and turbo and N75 is new hyndaituucson - OLD solution (orginal car file READ (egr-dpf) (have a lot DTC removed (more then 40)) NO DTC show H20_31BB - orginal file database HYNDAY V1 - egrV1 - test 1 ---DTC show p0504 - p0489 DPF+EGR test - test2 ---- DTC only show p0504 this file is very bad or maybe other problem have this ?
I need help regarding coding my replacement ABS unit, for AUDI A3 from 2010 VIN: WAUZZZ8P0AB019735, my old unit was 1K0907379AH, software version 0107 with long code
On this fourm i have found that i can use as replacement unit 1K0907379BE, as it was very avaliable to me i have took it and instal it on vehicle, in DTC's i have only that this unit need's to be coded, the current long code on it is only 0000000000000000.....
I have tried to code it using Launch X431, but it wont accept old coding from vehicle, then i used long code calculator and got same code
And do not know where is the problem, why this unit want accept this coding, maybe Launch x431 can not perform this coding to this unit?? In attach is vehicle data about equipment. I have tried also first to use code 40168 in permissions...but same result, i always get that code is not good, and to try again
Can some one tell me what i'm doing wrong, maybe i need to use ODIS or VCDS to perform this coding??
