It seems there’s a way to completely bypass the hood latch sensor on dodge vehicles to enable oem remote start capability. Something about a resistor and grounding pin 11 of the bcm. I’d like to get accurate information rather than trying to piece it all together from any number of potentially unreliable sources. I’ve activated remote start using Alfa OBD on a 2013 Dodge Charger SE. When the button on the key fob is pressed twice the doors lock and the horn honks but no information comes up on the DIS. I’d prefer to just bypass the non existent sensor rather than retrofit one in. It’s for a new customer so the quicker I can fix the issue the better in hopes to make them a returning customer. So I could definitely use a little help on this one in regards to what steps I need to take to get this 2008 BMW 535i running. The original CAS module was missing from vehicle when it was purchased by a friend of mine so in an effort to reprogram one using an Autel IM608 with both the XP400 Pro and a G-Box 3 I get all the way thru to the point where it asks me to provide the ISN number from the EGS, I got the ISN from the DME without any issue but when I try to retrieve the ISN from the EGS it just says "ISN number is missing from EGS" and so that being said has me stuck not able to finish programming the replacement CAS. Does anyone know either what I should do about the missing ISN number from EGS? Or am I able to just purchase off ebay or something from a donor 535i its DME, CAS, and key/ignition and just swap them over, will it be able to start then? Thanks

Hey lads, I've changed my rear lights from US to EU and suddenly got p045128 and p045200 - both related to sensor/pressure switch of evaporative emission control system malfunction and short circuit. I can only assume it is related to the rear lights swap. Any tips if it is related and/or how to disable the sensors?
Got another interesting one. A lynk&co 01 from 2021 which doesn't want to go out off crash modus. The fault codes stored in the high voltage battery (BECM) is B1206-00. I read a lot about the Volvo faults. Since this is a volvo platform i'm asuming it's the same problem. In the OEM software of lynk&co there i no option to crash reset the car. Does anyone here have a solution for this car or for a volvo for me to try?
