Hi, I saw somewhere that it turns on the DPF light every time it fires the DPF. In the Skoda Superb, it turns them off. Don't know where to code to turn on the lights? so that it is always on when it fires
Hey guys, I wanted to know if anyone has any ideas with correcting data for the vin/cs/mac replacement simos18 ecu for a vw golf r.
so usually i would boot mode the old ecu and transfer the vin/cs/mac into the used replacement ecu and this would work fine, if the original ecu was dead and unable to boot / bench the eprom/flash, i would then use odis grp online to correct the vin/cs/mac on the replacement ecu and that would also work.
however recently we now have the issue that vw/audi are blocking all used ecus, clusters, tcus, bcms from online service immo which means we have to come up with other ways around it.
This car I'm currently working on, the owner actually had bumped a wrench spanner between the positive terminal of the battery and the ecu case. This cooked the original ecu. boot mode won't work as we have tried.
We bought a used ecu. Tried service immo online via grp odis but used vin blocked request. Then i had tried to transfer another new virgin ecu data, virgin vin/cs/mac into the used ecu. it had identified as new with no vin but odis detected the fazit of the ecu being previously programmed to another car. This trick works for me with dsg tcus, I transfer a virgin vin/cs/mac into a used one and odis grp and it works fine in the event that the old tcu is dead, however it didn't work for this ecu.
I can get the vin/cs/mac from the cluster, dsg, and key but i know that only half the cs/mac will be the same. Currently i have immo off the ecu and it runs but they would like to tune it via obd on a dyno with many writes and I'm not going to keep repatching immo-off.
Any ideas apart from buying a brand new virgin ecu..

Hi, guys I went to some tuners in my country and they tried to delete the DTC for the SAP but couldn't delete it(they have done it on turbo version no problem). They said that this ecu of the non turbo model cannot be fixed (dtc removed). They suggest that i replace the whole system with a working one.
Any suggestions.

It had the Instrument Cluster replaced, as well as the ignition lock and ECU.
Everything was coded on the car, car starts and drives without issues.
But the guys that did this before, didn't code all the car options in the replaced modules, so: - auxiliary heating controls are not working anymore - this was controlled from the steering wheel buttons on the left side - BC not working anymore - messages are not displayed anymore on IC - like car is warmed up, low washer fluid and such.
I have a full DAS setup, Xentry, DTS, Vediamo and SM2 Pro.
Can I code this back to have all functions working somehow? Without an online Xentry account

When I look on WIS for Wiring, EIS and ABS Pump from car equipped with DTR+ and car without DTR+ have the same wiring, but on EPC showing different part numbers.
I’m not sure if it’s showing different part numbers because car is different year model but wiring is same for the 2 different part numbers..

My second Question is for wiring the Multifunction camera… It tells me it needs to be Wired to Pink&Green FlexRay Cables … There is FlexRay wire underneath passenger floor carpet, can I hardwire to that? or what is the correct way to connect the 2 flexray wires to the camera.
