In this post I would like to share a step by step guide on how to download and setup FORSkan for PATS programming.
First download and install forscan software " https://forscan.org/download.html " .
You must have an extended license for PATS programming. Free 2 months trial Extended License Key also works.
To do this you have to open forscan software and in About option copy the Hardware ID and
paste it here " https://forscan.org/support/prepare_tria...hp?lang=en " filling also some additional informations and press Submit.
In about 30 minutes refresh the page to display the license.key file and download it.
Return to forscan software and select the file by Load license key option. Forscan Extended Licence have done!
Connect your VCI and once you go to Service functions you will be able to use PATS programming.
Note! You must have internet connection for PATS programming and at least two keys programmed to initialize PATS.
ELM327 clones are not fully compatible with original ELM327 and will not work with FORScan.
A friend of mine broke one of his car keys and does not have the money to buy a new one so i tryed to immo off the ecm to help him. After trying alot of solutions with no succes (dashboard SAFE message) i gave up and wanted it back stock. I flashed the backup into the ecu but now the car wont start anymore, dashboard keeps giving me the safe message???
Do i need to program the old key again?
Problem is that i only have carprog,vcds and odis to do this job. Odiss immo servers are down so this is not a option.
Can someone with more experience of keys and immo's help me here? Would me apreciated!
Working on a crash rebuild. Not too much info on this problem with I8's. Lots of info on I3's with this problem. Whenever I turn the car on (Emode or ICE) or charge the car at all, the fan runs on high. This is with the car ice cold, no heat from driving or anything. I was thinking it might be a coolant bleeding problem but with no heat, it doesn't really add up. No codes related to overheating with the ICE running and doesn't explain why its running at full blast when charging cold. I'll attach the remaining codes but so far this has me stumped.

I am having a Steering wheel angle sensor faulty. I was going to select "Calibration of steering angle sensor" but accidentally selected and run ''ESP driving test" so ABS also disabled.
The only Diagnose i have is a one board Autocom 2021 DS150E clone. I know that i have to replace ''Steering wheel angle sensor'' but could not find it for now.
My question is: Is there any method aborting/disabling ''ESP driving test" so at least i will have a working ABS?
i try to read HC11E9 on circuit without desloder , unfornutely i get error Device is silent.
Is there somone has expierince is it possible to read on circuit or need to desolder?
Do someone has expirience with AK400 to read it on Bench?
